Ed listened to our brief and delivered a plan that needed little variation as we felt he listened to what was important to us and considered every detail. Ed first understood how our family functioned then delivered on things we didn't even realise we needed ourselves. He created a beautiful concept that works perfectly for us. Highly recommended.

Ed has designed 2 houses for me so far and helped in many other small projects. He is a very intuitive architect and has an amazing sense of what his clients are after. His designs are light, spacious, contemporary and create a space with an amazing energy and feel. One of Ed's projects for me was a major renovation (just the front wall and 2 original rooms left) of a lovely old Queenslander. The result was exceptional, retaining all the charm and history of the old building whist making it a light filled, ultra modern and superbly livable space. I cannot recommend Ed highly enough.

We are now living in and enjoying every aspect of our new beachside house. We were attracted to Davis Architects creative concepts. Ed heard and respected our brief and collaborated very efficiently with our builder and his team. As we are overseas residents we had to totally trust and rely on our architect and the build team. The 12 month project ( from concept to completion), was a total pleasure. Now to enjoy our #goldenhouse.

Ed is a very accomplish architect, good listener and attentive to details I found the home that I built for mutual clients to have a very comfortable flow, modern and warm at the same time The home is perfectly adapted to its location on the edge of a national park, with a good use of elegant materials the home will age beautifully.

We asked Ed Davis to design our new home after researching local architects.Ed listened to our brief and expanded the design with foresight and imagination as well as our criteria to do this as quickly as possible so we could build and be enjoying our home within a reasonable timeframe.The process through council was less than a month with Ed's knowledge of the expected guidelines.Our builder Olivier Chaussemiche and his team executed Ed's plans with expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm.Our year of building has been a wonderfully happy and enjoyable experience,we love our home..Thankyou so much Ed!

Edward Davis has completed 3 completely different projects for us in Australia - our beach house at Mollymook NSW, an apartment in Elizabeth Bay Sydney and a farm house at Stuart Town in the Central West. They were all on time and on budget, with happy builders and tradespeople. We continue to enjoy them all and recommend Davis Architects for innovation, sustainability and pragmatism.

Through simple and elegant design, Davis Architects has created a home that flows seamlessly through a series of interconnected indoor spaces, which transition to outdoor entertaining areas. The design maximises available space and captures natural light. Ed designed our extension, after consulting us he incorporated our ideas and captured what we wanted in his design. With plenty of storage and plenty of natural light, Ed has delivered us a modern and stylish semi which we love and will not be moving from anytime soon. Edward has been the architect for both of our home renovations- firstly a complete remodelling of a weatherboard terrace in Alexandria, and now a 4 bedroom original homestead in Berry. Despite having a few architects in our family mix we went back because his work is fabulous. He is happy to push when it's needed and give when the client is hell bent on expressing their taste. He accommodated our requests for environmental features and desire to trial new building materials. Edward has a keen aesthetic that runs through all of his work, but a great willingness to listen to his clients and help them express their lives and taste through their home. Fantastic Architect with wonderful eye for design to suit the building's surrounds. Not so much interested in trends but chooses timeless building features that may tip their hat to the latest thing but will stand the test of time. Great facilitator of local authorities (DA and Planning) and builders and good knowledge of many local as well as Metro based suppliers and manufacturers of beautiful elements for your home.
