“Ben did a marvellous restoration job on a set of antique table legs (see photos) left to us by an elderly relative. The original table top was a large antique Cairoware brass tray,which simply rested on the legs, but given that this isn't the most stable arrangement when there are kids around, we asked him to make a recessed top for the table to match the legs, for the tray to sit in. He managed to source a lovely piece of timber, and colour-match it with the newly restored legs, so now it looks as though our table was designed that way. We now have a lovely family heirloom that we can actually use! Highly recommended.”

“Was fortunate enough to discover these guys and their decorative coatings. We've used them on a couple of projects and have been very happy with the results, as have our clients. “Louise came round twice prior to starting work on our bedroom walls - the first time to find out what we wanted and take photographs of our colour scheme, the second to show us her sketches for us to approve. Louise's keen eye for detail and careful attention to her customer's taste and requirements, together with an artistic flair most of us can only dream of, meant that she was spot on with the design and created a beautiful mural that was exactly what we wanted. We now have gorgeous butterflies and flowers trailing across our wardrobe doors and walls - just the right amount, and in just the right places. The work was done in 2 days and with minimum disruption to our bedroom whilst it was going on. I would highly recommend (and already have!) The Creative Decorator to anyone and everyone, as long as she doesn't become so busy she can't come back and do some more for us in other rooms...!”

“Bought a custom made stainless steel window from Macmade. The window is better than I expected. I’m really pleased with it. Macmade did a great job. It took slightly longer to get than I expected but if I had ordered a standard Crittal window the lead time was 16 weeks and Macmade was able to get it to me within 12 weeks. All in all really pleased with the job.”

“Adam hand-made stunning English walnut dining table and matching console for our traditional - modern barn conversion. These are truly sophisticated pieces of art crafted from reclaimed timber. AS STAWICKI gives reclaimed materials a new elegant dimension. His work is timeless, cutting edge and modern. Most importantly Adam loves nature and does not use healthy trees to make his furniture. He collaborates with Earthy Timber and uses their patented technology to meticulously dry the wood to its very core in the vacuum chamber. Their advanced processing technology turns the wood's 'faults' into distinguished features. You would never achieve the same effect with viable trees. Dining and console tables are not our first investment for life with Earthy Timber, a few years back we also purchased a large conference table from a slab of oak. After 8 years of heavy usage, spilled coffees, office parties, late curries and 2 relocations it still looks like brand new (the finish to ask for is called 'waterproof') We highly recommend AS Stawicki and Earthy Timber. They are expensive but the the visual pleasure, innovative design and quality of craftsmanship of their furniture is worth it.”

“From the initial meeting and further consultations, through to quoting and then starting the commission it was a complete pleasure to work with Amalia at Linescapes. She captured the look and detail of what we were wanting to achieve perfectly and was very happy to make small amends as required, these were always made in a swift accurate manner. The final work is outstanding and we are excited to be able to use it in our publicity materials later this year (2017). Would highly recommend working with Linescapes and look forward to in the future hopefully.”

“I asked Conscious Forms to make a freestanding island from concrete together with a kitchen top and I'm thrilled with the results. From start to finish the communication with Junior at Conscious Forms was fantastic, giving advice and keeping me informed about the process. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, what you will get is something that feels bespoke and special and not a manufactured piece. It really was like watching a work of art come together and Junior's passion for his craft was a joy to work with. As a result the piece feels even more special and one I hope I'll enjoy for years to come.”
