“Ben did a marvellous restoration job on a set of antique table legs (see photos) left to us by an elderly relative. The original table top was a large antique Cairoware brass tray,which simply rested on the legs, but given that this isn't the most stable arrangement when there are kids around, we asked him to make a recessed top for the table to match the legs, for the tray to sit in. He managed to source a lovely piece of timber, and colour-match it with the newly restored legs, so now it looks as though our table was designed that way. We now have a lovely family heirloom that we can actually use! Highly recommended.”

“Louise came round twice prior to starting work on our bedroom walls - the first time to find out what we wanted and take photographs of our colour scheme, the second to show us her sketches for us to approve. Louise's keen eye for detail and careful attention to her customer's taste and requirements, together with an artistic flair most of us can only dream of, meant that she was spot on with the design and created a beautiful mural that was exactly what we wanted. We now have gorgeous butterflies and flowers trailing across our wardrobe doors and walls - just the right amount, and in just the right places. The work was done in 2 days and with minimum disruption to our bedroom whilst it was going on. I would highly recommend (and already have!) The Creative Decorator to anyone and everyone, as long as she doesn't become so busy she can't come back and do some more for us in other rooms...!”

“Adam hand-made stunning English walnut dining table and matching console for our traditional - modern barn conversion. These are truly sophisticated pieces of art crafted from reclaimed timber. AS STAWICKI gives reclaimed materials a new elegant dimension. His work is timeless, cutting edge and modern. Most importantly Adam loves nature and does not use healthy trees to make his furniture. He collaborates with Earthy Timber and uses their patented technology to meticulously dry the wood to its very core in the vacuum chamber. Their advanced processing technology turns the wood's 'faults' into distinguished features. You would never achieve the same effect with viable trees. Dining and console tables are not our first investment for life with Earthy Timber, a few years back we also purchased a large conference table from a slab of oak. After 8 years of heavy usage, spilled coffees, office parties, late curries and 2 relocations it still looks like brand new (the finish to ask for is called 'waterproof') We highly recommend AS Stawicki and Earthy Timber. They are expensive but the the visual pleasure, innovative design and quality of craftsmanship of their furniture is worth it.”

“In search of the perfect housewarming gift, I came across the Lu West sailboat print on Houzz which was just too good to be true! All kinds of lovely blues and swirls, the print was as lovely in person as it looked online. Alongside that, the print was delivered quickly, promptly, and when I emailed to request an estimated delivery date, (I needed it ASAP) Lu West got back to me immediately confirming the shipping details and it had turned up before I knew it! If you're looking for a gift or a soft, tasteful print for the home, Lu West is a great shout - would definitely recommend!”

“We’ve just finished refurbishing our home and wanted to add a splash of colour to the main open plan living area. AttikoArt was brilliant because we were able to select two quite different prints and coordinate their colours so that they worked together. What a great idea! We went for Indy Razz in blue and yellow, and Bruma Ray in yellow and green. Thoroughly recommended.”
