Every one of his pieces evokes an emotional response that conveys in life like realism the deep and spiritual connection of all living things. Shawn’s works have been featured in many fine galleries. He has created custom pieces such as the eagle ”Majestic Vision” featured on the Minnie Ha-Ha paddlewheel steamboat that cruises Lake George in upstate New York. “Bob and his master woodworkers designed and constructed a dining table for the window seating area in my home. I gave them a tear sheet of a picture I loved and they made it exactly to the feeling and look of the inspiration photo. They were easy to work with, kept me informed and delivered a spectacular product at a very reasonable custom price! Great product and knowledge from this team!”

“I have worked with Chris for many years and will continue to do so. Chris is an excellent craftsman and artist in multiple areas. In addition to all of the faux finishes, he is a master wood worker and furniture designer. He even made a fabulous arts and crafts clock for me. His paint and finish work is like glass!!!! Chris is also one of the most positive and upbeat people that I know. The clients love his work, and the paint crews admire him, as do I. I would highly recommend Chris for your next paint or wood project.”

“Akke Functional Art is an amazing commpany. The owner Axel is so innovative, talented and extremely easy to work with. I love his designs/art; he is a truly creative builder. The table that we have from him is always the number one conversation piece in our home. I suggest everyone gets on the Akke Functional Art train before he takes over the design world!”

“I started working with James LaMantia of LaMantia Gallery in 2006 when I purchased my 1st Garmash painting and met the artists. Since then, I was introduced to many more artists at the gallery opening nights, and enjoyed more paintings at home. When I showed my interest in Pino, James personally took me to his studio to choose from the works that were there. I enjoy working with LaMantia Gallery, and it never gets boring since James keeps widening their artists exposure and invites new ones to come in to do exhibits. The latest was by Alexei Butirskiy, and again, James helped me choose the work that is absolutely unique and culturally meaningful to me and my family. Inna Gellerman”
