“This is a recommendation fo. Eli Grassley, engineer, and Linda Makin, architect of ESG Design. Eli and Linda collaborated with me to on a rather complex renovation, producing architectural drawings and structural calculations for converting an unused attic apace of a 1929 house in the Seattle into a habitable living space, adding almost 500 sq ft. to a house with only about 880 sq ft. on one floor. Though out the process, they were both courteous, quick to respond to my questions and most amenable to the many suggestions I had for changing the design to either create a more efficient use of the space or accommodate material purchases (such as windows) that I made. The cost was most reasonable and I would have no hesitation in either recommending them to other clients or using them again myself. Since their work only involved the design stage and I have not yet begun construction, I do not have any pictures to contribute.”

“Owen did the structural engineering for our remodel and second story addition of our 1906 Green Lake bungalow. He worked quickly and collaborated well with our contractor and architect. During demolition, we found that a lot of the assumptions that were made prior to the project about the condition and integrity of the existing foundation were not correct, and Owen did a great job quickly developing a new structural plan that balanced budget, schedule and design that allowed our project to continue with minimal delay.I highly recommend Owen due to his professionalism, competence, communication and customer service.”

“We hired Douglas to design a two part remodel for our 1940's farmhouse. Douglas was very responsive to what we wanted, provided lots of great ideas that we didn't think of ourselves, and delivered final designs in a timely fashion. We built the first part of the design last year and our builder was very complimentary of Douglas' designs. I highly recommend!”

“Updated: 9,27.21 Brian is working to resolve our issues and has thus far, been communicating with us. Brian Franchini cannot be trusted to adhere to timelines or produce results. We asked Brian to create a preliminary site plan for a sub divide on a property. He said it was an easy task that would take 1 day, however, we never received a finished product from him. . In fact, we only heard from him once since we met at the site, despite reaching out almost a dozen times over the last 4 weeks. We have no idea why he stopped communicating with us or working on the site plan. Through voicemail and email, we pleaded with him to either contact us to let us know when the plan would be completed, or tell us that he was too busy/unable to complete it so we could move forward on the project. Since we never heard from him, I'm forced to assume he had other projects that he valued over ours. Brian seems like a nice guy and in the past, members of my family have at one time used his services successfully. Unfortunately, Brian cannot be relied on for what he referred to as a simple task... We're now several weeks behind schedule and we're worse off for having contacted Brian.”

“We used Munson Drafting Service to design a remodel and major addition to an old house. He provided design advice, and after many revisions and changes from our side, provided a full set of drawings that we submitted to the city for permitting. Terry designed everything using the prescriptive code so that we didn't need any special engineering helping minimize cost. If you have an idea of what you want, and don't require a full architectural package, Munson can provide great design services at a significantly reduced cost. The best comment I can make is that we have recommended Munson Drafting Services to friends and family for upcoming projects they have.”
