Solar Dwellings

We first contacted Solar dwellings to design our new home back in February of 2014. My brief to them was 1. Solar Passive, 2. Low allergen/dust, 3. Small, but highly functional, 4. Interesting. I didn't have any locked in concepts of room sizes/placement, or how I wanted the outside to look, but lots of input as to how I needed it to *work*. Griff and his team put together a fabulous design for us, and we ended up using one of the builders he recommended as well (see my review of NuLook homes). The design (from 1st contact to final floorpan and beginning costing) took us about 10 months. I think this could have happened faster, but I'm glad I chose to take my time, as we had few changes once the build itself started. The entire process was thoroughly enjoyable! We've now been in our new home for 8 weeks, and are absolutely loving it. I would recommend Solar Dwellings to anyone considering a build.
