“I am so happy that I found Adam on Houzz. I had 3 nooks in our house where I wanted to build floating shelves. Adam called me back promptly, and came to our house to estimate the work within a few days. I received an estimate and drawings via email right away. We agreed on a price and the work started the next week, and was completed a few days later. Adam was so prompt and responsive, and most importantly, the work he did is beautiful! I absolutely love the shelves. They are exactly what I wanted. I would definitely hire Adam again!”

“VanBenschoten and Lynch Builders have done a variety of projects at my home over the last few years – both large and small. They came highly recommended and there was no need to interview multiple contractors. Each project was handled with the same meticulous attention to detail, pride in the craftsmanship and a high degree of quality. All budgets and deadlines were met for all projects. Bob is very experienced and manages and organizes all projects with great care. He guides you through the project with open and honest communication making it easy for the homeowner. Bob and his team are all very professional, trustworthy, respectful, knowledgeable, and capable of anything asked of them. You can trust Bob will get the job done right with integrity and yielding excellent results. “Before Richard Aitkens was hired, I experienced contractors who did not show up for appointments, those who did failed to provide an estimate within a reasonable time period or at all and who took on multiple projects resulting that they couldn't meet their obligations. Richard Aitken the owner of this company is personally involved in all projects. This past year this contractor raised my house, built new decks, windows and doors. This project involved coordinating various contractors, permits amidst multiple changes with building codes and FEMA flood maps. When I contracted with Aitken I was promised that I would be back into the house by Memorial Day. This contractor had crews on this project daily including weekends to meet this promise. The workmanship is of quality, the staff both in office and on projects are great and knowledgable. Their insurance coordinator was terrific and was able to reopen my claim and negotiate to get covered items reimbursed. This contractor also has house management services for winter coverage as well as smaller projects that occur year round. The only negative is that Richard Aitken Builders/Contractors do not take on work in NY, where my primary residence is located.”

“I love my new raised garden beds!!! I initially had just an idea of what I wanted to optimize growing space in my tiny backyard. I gave a rough concept overview to Sam and he immediately came back with great ideas that included computer-animated diagrams to help me visualize. Once the decision was made, Sam was flexible in working around my difficult schedule to get the work done when it was convenient for me. The finished product is better than I expected and perfectly suits my needs. I highly recommend consulting with Sam before getting into any wood-working project.”

“Steve converted an quality oak entertainment cabinet into a shorter version that would accommodate a large screen TV. He matched new wood to old perfectly and the cabinet is exactly what I had hoped for. He completed the project promptly in the timeframe he set. We were very happy with the quality of the work and with Steve's friendly attitude.”
