Nest Renovations

Nest Renovations recently renovated our federation style home and we are so pleased with the quality of their work. We simply can not recommend them enough… Adrian is an experienced builder with an eye for detail and Holly brings a design lens which for us was a perfect match. We struggled with some of the design decisions and Holly was able to provide ideas and guide us to help ensure we didn't deviate from the period style of our house. Her input to the new kitchen cabinetry & bathroom furnishings was invaluable, and she wasn't shy in telling us when we were off the mark or wasting unnecessary money. Adrian is very honest, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Right from the moment he first arrived he would spot minor issues in the house which would have never noticed. His eye for detail meant that their was no compromise with quality, which gave us a huge amount of confidence in Nests work. While doing the renovation we came across some structural issues with the house that needed to be addressed. He informed us of the issues in good time and dealt with them without adding much extra time to the project. Adrian and Holly have a lot of integrity in the way they work, they chose to do things in the right way rather than cutting any corners or being misleading. We were very happy with their honest and open approach throughout the contracting, the build and their management of the budget. We really liked the tradies they work with. They were all so attentive, efficient and reliable. We felt no need to constantly check in on progress and fully trusted Adrian and his team. There is no doubt in our mind about using Nest for any future renovations. Thanks a lot Nest for an amazing job!

Professional, personable, friendly and consistently delivered above and beyond our expectations throughout a protracted and difficult renovation. We met Adrian, Holly and the Nest Renovations team after extensive research into a number of different builder/project manager options in our local area. Nest's deservedly high reviews were one criterion, but we dug a bit deeper, chatting with their past clients and stalking various forums to ensure that what we read online lined up with the actual experience of working with Nest. Finally, we met Adrian and Holly on a couple of occasions at our home where they took a genuine interest in our goals and priorities as a family and applied a practical perspective to form and function but also practical resale value for the proposed project. While our renovations were delayed both due to COVID and to a particularly nasty set of neighbours, Adrian and the Nest team tackled both challenges alongside us, as partners in getting the project done, while doing our collective best to manage the various stakeholders involved throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending Nest - in addition to Adrian and Holly, every member of the Nest team and sub-contractors that we dealt with (extensively for about 1 year!) were professional, courteous and more importantly, expert in their respective crafts.

From the moment I first met Adrian and Holly, I knew they were the right fit for us. Adrian had such a great idea with converting our awkward floorplan into a spacious and open plan family friendly area. Holly was the perfect touch of seeing everything from a woman’s perspective and what would work and what wouldn’t. Throughout the entire process from the initial meeting with Adrian and Holly to finalisation, the efficiency, professionalism and up front and crystal clear attitude has been incredible. Renovating during a worsening pandemic was never going to be easy or straightforward and yes we had some hurdles but they were resolved and dealt with quickly and we were never left wondering. The whole carpentry team and contractors were incredible and I thoroughly enjoyed having them work at our home on a daily basis. They became like part of the family and treated us and our home with respect and such care and consideration was taken when the work was being carried out. The end result is more than we could have ever dreamt of and we are delighted with our newly renovated family home. We had Nest do our renovations earlier this year and have been extremely pleased with the results. The work has been fantastic, made such a difference to our home and done so well that the additions look as if they have always been there. Before the job, Nest really helped us understand the process and were great in helping us think through different options for the fit-out and what would work well. Rob, Rory and Adrian were our regulars and were friendly, professional and were only happy with things done to a really high quality. They also made things really easy for us - were so good at minimising disruption, keeping things tidy and were so thoughtful around our new-born baby. They really pulled out all the stops - despite the disruption from COVID - to get the job done quickly and let us get settled into the new rooms. We would strongly recommend Nest to anyone considering having work done: really nice guys, very helpful and wonderful results.

Working with Nest Renovations made my renovation experience a breeze.
