Samalex - Balance in Building

Our project required a builder who could design a house suitable for our site. Our main concern was the two-story walk up flats to the north of the property. Samalex Homes came up with a design that gave us privacy, but also allowed northern sun into rooms in winter and shade in summer. Stephen and Maria found unique solutions and designs to overcome any problems. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the build was above expectation. This included constructing the house and finding a solution for privacy, by designing needed screening from the northern property. The builder not only built a beautiful house but also was involved in the entire project, including masonry fences and planter boxes, landscaping and pool construction. We have enjoyed living in the property for over 12 months now and are continuing to be impressed by the detail of this build. Looking back, there is nothing that we would do differently. We were very impressed with Stephen and Maria's professionalism and communication throughout the entire build and the way they built this project to our budget. We would highly recommend Samalex Homes to anyone looking for a unique, high quality home.

Steve and Maria helped us to build our dream house and advised us on how to best design a house to reflect the way we wanted to live. We hired Samalex to build a major house renovation. The renovation took 9 months, which we lived in the house while these renovations were taking place. The builder was very comprehensive, a good communicator, engaged us at every step, and gave us advice when we were unsure. He did everything we asked him too. He built a beautiful renovation, using quality materials and paying very close attention to detail. His business partner was extremely helpful with design concepts, colour selection and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Both are nice people who are passionate about what they do and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. The builder put in very long a hours at times to ensure the job got done in as little time as possible.
