“Our job was a complete remodel of our kitchen which included moving a wall and completely gutting the flooring in the kitchen, entry, laundry and second bathroom. We had a heated tile floor, custom designed cabinetry, recessed ceiling lights, appliances, windows and countertops installed. Nathalie Pillsbury listened to our "wants", made recommendations, met us for many product decisions, addressed our concerns and inevitable changes and was genuinely involved in our project. Mike Roloff hired excellent subcontractors, so that the finished product is outstanding. (Of particular note was the amazing "granite guy", Michael Ambrose, of De La Tierra Stoneworks). This company obtained the necessary permits and held to an agreed upon written timeline. All in all, a very satisfying, albeit disruptive as any remodeling/construction project is, experience. Kudos!”

He was very responsive and kept us informed on the project and was able to break out the various pieces so we could decide what should be included in the final project. “We wanted to redo our basement to move our bedroom, my office and our TV room down there and also remodel the laundry area. The job was complicated. the bathroom had to be redesigned, boiler moved, steps moved and more. In other words it was a big, complicated by the fact that as I writer I needed to work. Nick and his staff started from scratch and redesigned the space in a way that we never imagined. We set up a day for the work to begin and an estimated time when it would be over. Not only did the folks they hired show up on time, but they were all real craftsman, the most pleasant of people who took pride in their work. All we did was leave a few boxes of doughnuts every day. The project was well-supervised; they were constantly concerned about our comfort, open to new ideas. When changes had to be made, they were explained to us, and in some case designs were improved from how they were originally drawn up. I had an idea to use space under the steps as a closet, and they said sure. They were constantly thinking about how to make things work better, and they did. When they were done, they came through with little bits of blue tape to mark spots that we would never have noticed but that they saw and which needed a little attention. It's been two years; the work has held up splendidly (and was on budget, by the way). Our house is comfortable in ways we had never imagined, thanks to Nick, his staff and his contractors. The fellow he hired to oversee the project was there every day. Any question we had, he answered thoughtfully and always with consideration for what we needed. If we had to do another big or small project, we wouldn't hesitate to call on Nick again and would urge anyone to do so.”
