“I recommend McCarthy Construction – I am delighted with the renovation works they did to my house. We had an extension built to give us a sun room with underfloor heating so we can use this room all year round and a new kitchen and bathroom. From the outset John McCarthy was very professional, discussed our needs and came back with a detailed quotation and timeline. Half way through the project we changed our mind and he was able to accommodate our new requirements and still stay in budget. His team were very professional – we were living in the house whilst the works were carried out and each evening they tidied up and made sure there was minimum amount of disruption. John made regular visits to inspect the work and we received a quick progress review each week right up to project sign off. The most important aspect of his company, in addition to the quality of work, is that he kept within our budget and agreed timing, when he started the project – his team did not leave until the works were finished and we are absolutely delighted. “Beegan Build completed a renovation and extension on an old derelict stone building in Edenderry for me in 2013. The building was completed to a very high standard which included concrete floors, underfloor heating, Air to air heatpump resulting in an SEAI A3 energy rating. The project was well managed with no lost time accidents on site. The access to a very busy public road was well managed with no complaints. Tie-ins to both the sewer and the water were completed in conjunction with the Council. The site was maintained in a tidy manor with no complaints from the neighbors. The project was completed within the agreed schedule and within budget. Mr Beegan made several sugestions during the build which optimized both the build cost and living space within the structure. The project included a complete fit out of built in wardroves, fitted kitchen, tiling, painting etc and was finished to a very high standard. You can look at google maps to see what the building looked like before renovation.”
