He worked with my draftsman to get the initial drawings ready for approval by the building's management company's engineer and the building's board. He then worked diligently with my expeditor as she prepared the package of documents needed to submit for approval not only from the Landmarks Preservation Commission, but also the DOB. Throughout the entire long drawn out process, Lee was attentive and responsive to any changes that were required. He quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had and worked collaboratively with all the other folks involved in moving this project along. If I ever need an architect for another project, I would not hesitate to call Leandro Dickson.”

“I purchased a 4-unit building in Hoboken that needed considerable work. My idea was to remodel the 4 units and keep them as rentals. But the company that was recommended to me and that I hired was Brunelleschi Construction. The project went over budget 100% and the work was not done up to par. When the building was finished Oct 2012 we had to put the units for sale to pay for the increased cost.
Two weeks later Hurricane Sandy flooded our basement unit.
This was a blessing in disguise. Brunelleschi had done a terrible job and the unit was awful. It had sofits protruding like I had never seen. My realtor recommended Houseplay, and I cannot say enough about Tammy and Niall. Their work was on schedule and on budget. When we had a change order it would be $400-1200, not the $4000 weekly average that I suffered with the initial construction. I would have loved to have used them for the initial project but the architects that I hired were who recommended contractors.
