“Total Home has done several jobs for us over the years. From crown moulding, to built in custom shelves to our most recent project - a total makeover of our ensuite - which now has WOW appeal. Cindy Charbonneau helped me pick colours and select tile. With her partner, Gilbert Lutes, they planned the layout and those small details that make the difference. Gilbert co-ordinate the work of a couple of trades and completed the construction and tiling himself. We highly recommend them for your next project!”

“Complete basement renovation project entertainment/theatre room. Very professional and knowledgable in their field. Open to discuss and share ideas with you which makes for a "team effort" and fantastic results. They work at completing the project in a reasonable length of time work area always left clean. “I consulted Paul Denys about a bathroom renovation project and he provided good advice, a number of options and a general cost estimate. He was knowledgeable and his approach was conversational and low-key. Subsequently, Paul and his apprentice redid a ceiling at my home. Their work was excellent, with a new ceiling and moulding that is harmonious with the rest of the house. The decision relating to the moulding was collaborative. The cost and time to do the work were within the estimated range and I am very satisfied with the result.”

“They rebuilt my finished basement and it looks wonderful ! It had been destroyed by a hot water tank breakage. This family business worked with me, and made my ideas work for a reasonable price. They were punctual, respectful and kept the project within budget. Any work that exceeded the original estimate, was discussed and additional estimates were made and agreed to before they proceed. To summarize, Kirk at Castlecorp does great work! However, their professionalism and ethics are what really sets them apart.”

“J. Pallen & Son's Construction were very professional, organized and detail-oriented while building our custom dream home. They worked with us from the initial design process to completion. They were always quick to respond to questions and were extremely knowledgable in all aspects of home design and construction including the latest technology, such as Insulated Concrete Form ( ICF ) foundations and Energy Efficient materials. They were innovative to accommodate special features in our home, such creating a niche in our kitchen cabinet wall that allowed a full size 36" fridge to appear as a counter depth fridge as well as a two-sided fireplace in the Master Suite that could be enjoyed while in the soaker tub. J. Pallen & Son's also designed into our home the ability to have wheelchair accessible features such as a rough-in for an elevator and a barrier free roll-in shower should the need arise. We were so happy with their craftsmanship and dedication that we had them come back to complete a portion of our unfinished lower level and are planning another project to be completed by them in the near future. This company definitely has a passion for home building and we highly them for all projects small and large.”
