“This is a top-notch company. Mike and Jim are smart problem-solvers, creative thinkers and great people. They brought skilled artisans to work on our major renovation which resulted in a wonderful new kitchen, truly the heart of our home, in our beautiful old (1923) home. It was important to us to have the new kitchen feel appropriate to the period architecture of our house and it does. This was a very large project and could have been beset by frustration, delay and poor communication. Instead it was a smoothly managed project that gives us great pleasure everyday.”

“We used Mike from Artisans Design Group to remodel our kitchen, breakfast area and relocate the entrance from the garage. Mike is very creative, thinks out of the box, has very competent employees(which were great to have in the house) and above all, they are great craftsman. The work took as long as Mike originally stated, about two and a half months. Because Mike got me to move out of my comfort zone, the kitchen is really great! We even have a coffee bar in an unused space above the stair well! Grays, whites and antqiue chandeliers where never in my original plan. I had no question as to who I was going to use in the kitchen as we used Artisan for a back splash/hood in our previous home and Artisan rebuilt our neighbor's older back sun porch and when completed, looked like a major room in the house with so much more style The bathrooms are next!!”

The work was done in a timely fashion, even the time it was an emergency they were on the site the next day to assess the situation. The work was always done with our budget in mind and we never went over the amount agreed upon. A delight to have them in our house working. Will use them again soon.”

“We had Tom build a new home, a ranch, to plans that we got from a friends (whose home he also built some 10 years earlier.) He did a great job managing the contractors, communicating with us, etc. The work was very good, and we are very pleased. The real test though, is AFTER the house is "delivered" to the new owners. Here, Tom really excelled. We had the usual little things- nail pops etc. and he took care of them fast, without complaint and the work was done well, In a few cases, we had a problem due to our own fault, and he STILL took care of those things as well. A good business transaction, done in a friendly way. We could not ask for more!!”

“I've now had Smartland handle three jobs, all big, at my home. They've previously restored my floors after a flood and rebuilt my garage after a neighbor drove into the back of it. Now they've also replaced all my siding, over the entire house. It was a tricky job, not least because, after the siding was damaged by my neighbor's accident, I had to deal with two different insurance companies over the cost and coverage issues. Smartland did more than contract for the job--they handled all the negotiations with the two companies. My house looks great!”
