“We chose Smith and Son Renovation and Extensions Tweed Heads to repair our existing house that had extensive water problems due to initial build quality.
Our first impressions of Andrew and Lynn were that they were very professional. Their office was nicely appointed and well presented and they appeared well organised and knowledgeable about the building processes and requirements.
As a result we chose to move ahead with them and the renovation process began.
From the very start they were well organised and kept us up to date on what was happening with the council and allowed us to choose the start date.
The people working for Smith and son were amazingly polite, considerate and capable of high quality workmanship. While renovations can be tedious it wasn't this way. The workmen went out of their way to consider us and even developed a friendship with our son, who loved seeing them everyday.
The project was quite a large one but we feel we got great value for money. While they are a business we didn't feel that we were a gold mine for the company and we felt that Andrew and his team were mindful of our budget.
The paperwork was taken care of by Lynn who was exceptionally efficient.
The end product is amazingly beautiful and no more water problems.
We couldn't recommend Smith and Son Tweed Heads more vehemently and we are thankful everyday we chose them to do the work.”

“Shane Earle and his team from Queensland Heritage Restorations undertook the rather complex renovation of my home, and I cannot praise their work highly enough.
They had the difficult task of joining a 120 year old removal house on to my existing equally old house, and have not only risen to every challenge thrown at them - 100 year old church Leadlights in the dining room? Arched doors from an old convent? A reading nook with a fixed leadlight? And on it goes....and they even came up with ideas of their own that have value-added in a big way.
It's the attention to detail and justifiable pride in the quality of their work that has made all the difference in turning what could have been a nightmare renovation into something remarkably stress-free and truly spectacular. Shane's word is his bond, and his direct, frequent and inclusive communication has made working with him and his team an absolute pleasure.
