There were many homes available to choose from at the time, but this home stood out clearly above the rest because of it’s quality and craftsmanship throughout the unique custom design. Craig was able to create an enclave complete with wet bar, full bathroom, a conference room and office area with two private decks and a garage for my bikes. He was able to surgically remove the roof above the existing 4-car garage and build the new addition into the home so that after completion it looked like it was always part of the original house. It was very important for me to work with the builder who created the extraordinary home I chose, but I was even more impressed when I had the opportunity to work with Craig on my addition. “I was lucky enough to find Gail Manning of Gem Interior Design and have her and her team help me with the interior of my 6,300 s/f home. She has so much experience, an amazing eye for detail, she is extremely creative and an out of the box thinker which is such a plus. She has such positive energy and made what in my mind could have been a challenging undertaking into a fun and joyful project. She asks very specific and pointed questions to fully understand how I live and work so that she makes sure the house is not only absolutely gorgeous but also functional which I found to be uncommon for designers. By asking in-depth questions she was able to quickly understand what I was trying to accomplish and she was able to address my wants and needs. Then she added some amazing options that I would have never thought of taking the project to a whole new stunning level. Gail worked extremely quickly and is very efficient and yet she made me feel exceedingly comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire project. Once we had the plan in place she brought in her crews who were amazing from top to bottom and I couldn't beat her pricing! I was surprised how prompt and conscientious they were and how fast they worked. I have to say this was the best experience I could have had and with her detailed communication, flawless follow-up and exemplary follow through she made the entire process a breeze.”

“Dave McLean and his crew from Castle Building did an outstanding job finishing our basement. The detailed plan and 3D drawings that were prepared in advance helped us understand exactly how each room would look and what to expect. Dave's attention to detail and desire to "do the right thing" carried over to all of his crew. They were respectful of our home, were nice to our dogs (very important), and were always willing to listen to our concerns and never tried to cut corners. When things did not turn out exactly as planned, which was not unexpected given the size of our project, they never tried to talk us out of making it right but instead corrected the issue and never complained. They built a brand new stairway, cut into a new area of the house, which improved the size and flow of my house. This stairway was finished out to the nines!
