“MJ Frame Construction and Unique Lifestyle Projects have done a few jobs for us this year, including renovating two bathrooms and replacing the outdoor stairs leading up to our house. On the very first visit Mick and Dani understood our house and lifestyle and were straight away able to make suggestions for a better layout of the bathrooms without any major changes to the plumbing. Having Dani on board was so helpful when it came to design. She sourced all the materials and all I had to do was choose between a couple of options and make final approval. The bathrooms look beautiful and this is mostly because of Dani’s vision. She made suggestions that I wouldn’t have considered otherwise. Having the design option made the whole process really easy and enjoyable. Mick and his team are hard working, friendly and professional and went above and beyond regarding any problem that arose. Mick and Dani were always available to us and any queries were addressed immediately. All work was completed on time and within budget. I will definitely use them again for any future projects.”

“Against the Grain did an exceptional job at our property recently. The effort they put into matching both the style and materials of our original structure, when they recently converted a full length window to become an extra Front door at our Timber Cabin, was nothing short of excellent. The existing door was duplicated exactly in both design and measurements. Our Installer, Errol, was meticulous in his work and once the door is stained and finished it will be almost impossible to think that it was not part of the original structure. Added to this... the staff ....Chris, Jenny, Errol, Megan... etc.. were friendly, reliable and very efficient to deal with. We are very grateful that we chose Against the Grain for the construction and installation of this significant and beneficial renovation.”

“Rustic Touch's excellent team reinvented our old family beach house for a new life & I highly recommend them. Right through from working with Tony & Deb to design it, they and their talented builders, support staff and tradesmen have all so easy to deal with, attentive to what I wanted, careful in their work & not afraid of some creative problem-solving. They've successfully "up-cycled" existing materials back into the building, and used some unusual new finishes to great effect; the result retains the best features of the original, but it's really been smartened up. Talk to them.”
