“I have several reasons for highly recommending Smith & Son Inc. Our project was the installation of a composite deck over a worn out cement patio. Out of the three quotes we received, Lance Smith not only provided us with a detailed quote very quickly, he was the only individual we met with who followed up with us by telephone to discuss his quote. This discussion led to further clarity regarding our project and savings on the overall cost, putting us within our budget. Lance recommended a particular decking material which we are extremely pleased with. Knowing we were eager to start, Lance found a way to begin our project much sooner than expected. His three man crew was led by a seasoned and experienced foreman who not only guided his team, but also checked in with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied. Noe took great pride in his work and was very eager to please. They kept the work area tidy and safely stowed their equipment at the end of their workday. We are very happy with the finished project which exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use Smith & Son again and would highly recommend them to friends and family.”

“Our company has worked with QPS for several years. We have done business with more than 140 other general contractors and other construction companies, both locally and throughout the state of California. Without question, we find QPS to be one of the top three general contractors that we have ever worked with. They are attentive, dependable and a pleasure to work with. They always do what they say they’re going to do but even more than that they under promise and over deliver every single time on every single project. Their prices are more than fair and they never overcharge….. it’s run like a family business is supposed to be operated. There are never excuses. QPS has a significant staff of qualified professionals. They never take on more work than they can handle or work that they are not qualified for. To be honest, we are always looking for projects to do so that we can partner our clients with them. We , ourselves are an interior design and interior architectural firm, who represent quality workmanship as you will see on our website, www.warrensheetsdesign.com. When asked to give recommendation I the president of Warren Sheets Design, jumped at the opportunity to give my two cents about QPS. But since I have been asked, I’m giving more than two. “Bill Tomrose and his entire staff, architech, contractors and suppliers were extremely professional, knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated, detailed and very friendly men and women to work with, throughout the 9 months of our kitchen, dining room, family room and downstairs guest bathroom! The end results are way beyond what we could have dreamed!! Bill and everyone kept us very informed and on budget through evey detail. Their knowledge of timing and permit experience really made a difference in the completion of our remodel, Our homes photos are in Bills gallery of photos and they should be seen!:)”

“We contracted with Contractor 2.0 to have a small part of our drywall repaired on our ceiling-- they were quick, responsive and did a good job on the repair within 2 days. It was also at an affordable price. Small areas for opportunities for growth would be direct communication with the repair person so that it's easier to communicate about any potential delays. “Recently I had the pleasure of working with Promodeling on the remodel of both my master bathroom and my guest bathroom. My initial meeting was with Guy Oren, the owner of Promodeling. He immediately understood my design needs and was extremely helpful in picking out all the appropriate materials to make my dream bathrooms a reality. The installation was completed in a timely and very professional manner. I highly recommend Promodeling. I would definitely use them again for any future projects!”

“Matt Hanes and his son Dave did a terrific job on our remodel of a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo in Silverado. Both men were a pleasure to work with. Matt handles the overall supervision of the work and Dave pays close attention to every detail of the project. In addition, Dave is a highly skilled cabinet maker and finish carpenter. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were fully custom and beautifully made...and a very fair price. We were also very pleased with their internal team and the subs with whom they have relationships. On many occasions during the course of our project, both Matt and Dave provided valuable input into the structural and well as the esthetic design elements. The finished product was greatly enhanced as a result of their suggestions. Because we live in the East Bay we were not able to closely supervise their work but every stage was completed on time (or very nearly so), and the quality of their work was exceptional. And (importantly) there were no cost overruns and no billing surprises!”
