“Boa Constructor is a wonderful company. They remodeled my small 1912 bungalow in the Seabright neighborhood, creating a much more livable floor plan while maintaining the integrity of the house. Using eco-friendly and salvaged materials was very important to me, and Michele, the GC, was a kindred spirit in that respect. She encouraged me to find salvaged materials on Craigslist, and she made an effort to reuse 100 year-old redwood siding, doors, etc, when I know it would have been easier to go to the lumber yard and buy something new. Her crew is friendly, expert, and tidy--we lived onsite during our renovation (in a studio behind the house) and I always felt comfortable having the crew here. Michele seems to know every subcontractor in Santa Cruz, and she's great at getting the best quality tilers, hardwood floor people, etc., at the best price. Even more importantly, she is a good listener, and she is patient and flexible with clients. We were, in some ways, terrible clients--we struggled to make up our minds, my husband and I communicated with her at cross-purposes, and we expected miracles on a small budget. Michele stuck with us, dealt with the inevitable challenges and setbacks, and got us back into our home on schedule and for a reasonable price. (We did time and materials, rather than a fixed contract price, so there was no overarching budget.) My house is a little jewel box now; thanks to the creativity and care Michele and her crew lavished on it, it's ready for another 100 years of life.”

“Tony and his team did an excellent job . They expanded my master bedroom including the bathroom and a walk in closet. I am not the easiest customer. I had so many questions, and Tony was patient with me every step of the way. They were very thorough and competitive. They were constantly updating me and going over the process . The entire experience was great!! Always on time with a great attitude. I want to say that I worked with a few general contractors over the years and it is difficult to find a good one that actually keeps you updated. “Seacliff was our top choice for a bathroom remodel, requiring complete updating but also a structural change in the roof. The contractor, Lennox Smith, competently led a skilled team including a structural engineer and specialists in tile, wood, cabinetry, and glass. We were exceedingly happy with their workmanship, reliability/professionalism, persistence in working with city planning, and dedication to keeping our project within the budgeted amount. We were out of the state when the remodeling took place. However, we never worried about the care taken by Seacliff, and our trust was well placed. We recommend Seacliff without reservations.”

“We were referred to Ori at LU construction by our family that hired them to remodel their kitchen a while back. Ori outlined the project steps for our kitchen remodel and presented a competitive quote for the job. The entire crew was professional, resourceful and efficient. During the entire remodeling, Ori was responsive and communicative to any of our concerns and he was always available to meet with us as needed. He demonstrated professionalism in executing any changes to the plan. Overall, we could not be happier with the new kitchen that he remodel for us. We lived at the house through the construction and it was honestly much better than we thought it would be. We trusted Ori and it was worth the trust. “David remodeled our bathroom and did a great job! The house is over 100 years old and of course there were many things not right. He was able to plumb the walls and floors, fix the plumbing and electrical and get an 8 foot marble slab stone shower installed. David is very seasoned and has the gamut of skills to complete almost any job - from rough construction, foundations to installing cabinetry, hanging door and crown moulding. He will always try to make it right and not take the short cut just to complete the job. He is very precise in his work. If you want quality and attention to details, then David is your contractor.”

It took a little longer than we expected because of covid 19 but Their customer service was excellent and they managed to finish the project quickly after the lockdown, so we are happy with there service and the results came just like the 3D design. “After getting several estimates from different companies, I was fortunate to find ON Design & Remodeling. I had no idea what I wanted to do but ON Design & Remodeling came in, took a look at my kitchen, created a 3D Design that was mind-boggling to say the least. The reality of it is, they came in, completely demo’d my boring, old kitchen and gave me the kitchen of my dreams! And the hood itself is just a work of art. They exceeded my expectations at every turn. Literally impeccable workmanship! My kitchen turned out so amazing, we begin demo on my master-bath, master bedroom & closets in 10 days. I can only imagine what they will do there!”

“I'm on the board of our HOA. We hired Airel Construction to do siding work on a number of different units. From the start of the project through the end, it was great working with them. In addition to doing solid work, this crew showed up, communicated well, and they were extremely pleasant to work with. I really can't say how much I appreciated them. They were considerate of our home and the people and pets in it. It is clear that from the management to the workers, they are running a good crew. When you find a business that runs like this, with people that show up and do great work, it's easy to recommend them. I've already reached out to them for an additional small job, with the same positive results. If you have a job that needs to be done and are looking for a better experience, don't hesitate.”
