“Ken, Thank you for delivering everything I asked for during our basement renovation project. You helped us update our ugly, non-functional basement into something that we could be proud of by turning it into a space where we could have room for guests, an office for my husband, a work-out area, a media room, an updated bathroom, a computer area and extra storage for my teenage son, an art space for my teenage daughter, a kitchenette for morning coffee and parties, floor to ceiling pantry cabinets for extra storage, a hearth area that is Pinterest worthy and all within budget and on my timeline. In addition to that, the new laminate flooring, agreeable grey painted walls, new white trim, and painted black ceilings are fabulous. Now, I'm a realist and this isn't my first renovation project. I knew there would be extenuating factors that could cause the timeline to extend and surprises that might increase the agreed-upon budget. But, in general, everything went smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with your guys, Dilshat and Farouz. They were some of the HARDEST WORKING people I have ever met. I could always count on them to be here on time and I felt comfortable with them in my home and knew that they were doing exactly what they needed to be doing to get the job done right. Not only were they hard-working, they were incredibly skilled, especially with things like tile work. My shower looks absolutely beautiful and the custom niche they created is one of the best I've ever seen. Something I particularly appreciated about you was your communication. You always answered the phone when I called and returned texts promptly. Additionally, you checked in frequently to let me know your timeline and let me know if you were ever running late. I would use Apex Homes and your team for jobs in the future. Not only that, I would recommend you to friends and family. “Mike Mahn built a garage & deck addition for us in 2012. We have a walk out lower level so we replace our original wood deck with a 2-car garage with deck above. The new structure is solid surface brick and concrete that seamlessly integrates with the original home. The design & implementation are both outstanding, and it is now a focal point for both family time and outdoor entertaining. With any project in which you're dealing with existing conditions, there will be some surprises or unknowns. In our case, this did lead to some delays. Mike and the job foreman, Bob, did an excellent job of communicating throughout the process so that I understood exactly what the issues were, and how to address them. There were change orders involved, but there was a clearly defined process using a web-based job software, so there were no surprises when it came time for contractual matters and billing. Mike has always responded to call-backs without question, and continues to monitor the project in the event new issues arise. He took ownership for his work, and holds his sub-contractors to the same standard, which as a homeowner, I very much appreciate.”

“Terra Nova has displayed the utmost professionalism from start to finish! We made several changes right before and during the project and they approached each with a "yes ma'am" attitude. Mike White and Adam Schmitz have been an absolute joy to work with, as have the subcontractors that have been hired by them. Mike and/or Adam were on the job site every day and in very close communication with us on scheduling, changes, challenges, etc. I am impressed with their knowledge of construction and creative approach to problem solving. Now that we are at the end of our project and completing punch list items, I am impressed with their attention to detail and perfection - I think they might be more particular than I am! I would highly recommend Terra Nova Construction.”

“Stockell Homes/Don Stockell has been the general contractor for us on 2 homes. Don completely renovated every square inch of our former home, a 1902 gem (after his renovations!) in an urban setting. We moved this past Summer to a suburban 1980's home and undertook major renovations on it. We have received nothing but the highest compliments from all that have entered either of our homes. Don's attention to detail and craftsmanship are superb. He has a fabulous work ethic and his word is his bond. With all the work he has done for us we feel like Don is one of the family and we recommend him without any reservation to anyone who is ever looking for a contractor.”

“Schneider Construction did a great job as general contractor and on construction services on our full main floor remodel. Brad and Mike were open to our ideas in design and introduced us to some other contractors for various needs like tile removal, floor installation, painting, glass tile work and doors. Our kitchen is contemporary but has a warm feel of home! Opening walls and stairways gave new life to a 30 year old home. It's now a wonderful gathering space for all our family and friends. Schneider's knowledge and experience was invaluable throughout the project. Houzz served as our inspiration points in several areas and Brad was able to interpret those to be a good fit and match for our us. They are a good Company and will do a good job in any construction or remodel. Our project began in May and finished in July. Now we can really enjoy the house and we love entertaining.”
