“Addition of 2 rooms over our garage. The project required an engineered solution to meet our needs of adding two rooms over our garage, drywall, finishing of the garage, installation of upgraded HVAC to meet the larger house size, new stucco, new eavestrophing, fascia, soffit, new finishings in all upper floor. Second project on secondary property was to assist with proper sealing of crawl space and increasing insulation in attic. Kurmak employees were: - very professional] - listened to our needs - found solutions to our requests for changes when we asked - addressed shortcomings immediately and with professional attitude. - met or exceeded deadlines”

“Out of the 4 contractors that I interviewed and explained what I would like in my kitchen, Mike was the only one who knew immediately. He then proceeded to sketch out my kitchen right in front of me, exactly how I envisioned it. The trades people for cabinets (Samantha), flooring, electrical, drywall ( Kelly), painter all were very knowledgeable about their products and installation for cabinets was above and beyond. Mike has been very professional, honest and caring in his dealings with us. What he quoted was exactly what we paid , except a couple things I changed we paid extra for. Mike knew we were on a budget and he proceeded most economically and efficiently for us. Started demo Nov 2/21 finished Nov 30/21 , with a few touch ups in December. Would highly recommend this company, If you want it done properly and done right Bella Rosa Developments is the choice.”

“Kinash Construction helped me with my home renovation. We added an secondary suite to the side of our house and a dormer to the room above the garage. (see house renovation pictured with the red house.) Jay Kinash, the owner, is very knowledgeable with the the whole building process from designing to framing and finishing. He is also very well connected in the community and knows the best tradesmen to help with all the extras. His quotes are accurate and his employees are respectful and hard workers. He even trusted me enough to do a few simple jobs. Overall very happy to have hired Kinash Construction to do our renovation! It went as smoothly as construction can go! I would recommend for any type of construction or project.”

He communicates clearly and often with photos and project updates, and responds to questions or concerns very very quickly. Darcy is extremely committed to his projects and works tirelessly to keep things running according to plan. When the inevitable reno surprises came up, or when we changed our mind about something, he calmly managed the situation and ensured it was resolved. Darcy has a background in project management and uses these skills to his clients advantage. I believe this sets him apart from others in the home renovation business.”

“Rod Wolff and his highly competent team of professional contractors provided us a comfort level not experienced in several previous home renovation projects we have taken on. Our project involved every discipline in house renovations from footings and heated concrete floors to complete teardown of building interior up to and rebuilding; including finishing carpentry. We anticipated issues marrying new to old. Rod's ability to communicate and bring trades and owner's together to problem solve resulted in a working environment that focused on the end goal. Rod understands the big picture and seeks to find balance in everything he does; presenting a clear picture for everyone to understand. I highly recommend Rod and would do business with him again in a heart beat. He surrounds himself with the best contractors and is very approachable and cares. His straight forward and honest approach are attributes we most appreciate. We would definitely look to Rod for any future projects and would recommend him without hesitation. We had no interest in building prior to meeting them, and our home build exceeded our expectations so much that we would build with them again and again, and only them! They built us a home more amazing than we could have ever imagined in our dreams! Literally a Dream Home, with all the highest quality finishings! We would recommend them to anyone and everyone considering building a custom home, in fact we would be adamant that anyone we know build only with Rockwood!”

“We are currently having a complete renovation done on our home. This is a 6-8 month project. All the walls were taken out in our upstairs and downstairs bungalow, and our general contractor, Ultimate Renovations have worked closely with us to develop a new design. We have chosen Ultimate Renovations as this organization has since 1979 been Calgary's only 8 time Renovator of the year and Winner of 30 CHBA Renovation Awards. We have also seen the quality of work in their previous projects. All the staff of Ultimate Renovations, and their suppliers are very customer focussed, professional, and take the extra time to do quality work. We are living in one of Ultimate's rental homes as they do the work. Work is in progress. We are pleased with the quality work that is being done. We also have access to a wonderful designer from Renew Designs, also from Calgary. We have and are also truly benefiting from houzz.com's website, as we are able to obtain a lot of our ideas from there.”
