“Jamie is one of the best contractors I've worked with. First and foremost he is courteous and professional. He returns phonecalls promptly, shows up when he says he is going to (virtually unheard of!) and stays on schedule. His work is excellent and priced fairly. He has done a number of projects at our home including installing and refinishing hardwood floors, installing new windows, replacing sinks, countertops and installing garbage disposals. We've been thrilled with the results each time. He keeps us abreast of the progress by sending regular updates. Jamie does quality work and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their home or business in the greater Newport/surrounding Rhode Island area.”

Phil and his crew are great to work with and I would use them again and again! Our latest project was huge (a house built in 1780) and I knew I definitely was going to use Martelly Building & Design. “I was lucky enough to find a fabulous Company to complete a substantial makeover of my home , which includes kitchen & baths remodeled, new siding, new widows, new doors, new roof, new deck and new floors, . I have nothing but praise for Salt Pond Builders. Steven Dickey responded immediately to my request to come and view the work I wanted done. He gave a fair quote for the extensive work to be carried out and a start date, which I gladly accepted. Nothing was too much trouble, they work non-stop from arriving to leaving each day, and they cleaned up each afternoon. They went above and beyond in all aspects of their work which is meticulous and professional. I cannot recommend Salt Pond Builders highly enough and have absolutely no hesitation in saying that anyone looking for a builder in the Rhode Island area need look no further.
