During construction, Steve was incredibly responsive, oversaw every detail, inspired and encouraged creative ideas, and was always positve; he never cracked under the pressure we put on him. Steve's wife, Susan, was especially helpful in filtering for us the abundance of design choices and selections that go into a custom home. “Alexis and Lauro did a wonderful job constructing our attic. Our home is a bungalow in the North West Side of Chicago. After working with multiple contractors, their ideas and recommendations really got us exited about completing the project. Turning it into a “family room” with new bedrooms for the kids, master bedroom, hang out area and a complete bathroom with stand up shower. Allowing us to finally move forward with expanding the kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. Work was completed on schedule and budget making it easy to continue using their services.”

“Had a water pipe freeze and burst, flooding the lower level. Work entailed removing the marble floor and replacing it, replacing drywall, insulation, window trim and baseboards. Painting entire lower level and part of main floor. While there was an initial miscommunication between owner and workers that resulted in a dust laden house, owner remedied the mishap immediately with a cleaning crew. Thereafter, contractor did an excellent job on all aspects of the required work. Contractor also made suggestions on certain items that improved the final product and look. Contractor also moved shutoff valve to interior of house to minimize potential for reoccurrence of frozen pipe issue, and then had good idea to camoflage the valve. Very impressed with work, attitude, responsiveness and budget. Would recommend to friends.”
