“Dustin did a wonderful job for us. Cleanest tradesman BY FAR, and we've hired quite a few over the last decades. The venetian plaster is fairly mesmerizing to look at -- so much depth. The thing we learned about plaster is the colors are tricky to match to a paint chip--and Dustin was very patient with me as I toned down the severity of my original choice. Great job! Thank you Dustin!”

“I have a contemporary loft and wanted a project done meticulously, on time, and with creative ideas. North Star met those requirements. They came up with ideas I would not have come to on my own and the plans were put into place exactly as I had hoped. Additionally, they kept my place neat and clean during the project, important since I had to live there during the construction time. Their work on my place was featured in the Home Section of our leading metropolitan newspaper - the article was syndicated nationwide. High marks!”

“We hired Dean Bowman to replace windows, doors and lay down new stone flooring in our house. He is very organized and structures the work to be as efficient as possible. His crew are craftsmen who pay attention to detail; if Dean doesn't like the quality of their work he corrects them to make sure it meets his standards. He responded quickly to a few problems that surfaced during the job. He is a clear and straight-forward communicator, and very down-to-earth. The billing system he uses is very transparent and easy to track. Even though the majority of his projects are building new very high-end homes on the Big Island, he took our small job and executed it with the same high quality of workmanship as his bigger jobs. We are extremely happy with his work and will continue to work with him as our home improvement projects develop.”
