“They did a wonderful job on renovating and expanding our master bathroom. They took out a small and hardly useful hall closet and explained into that space to put in a shower. They had to work extra hard when the surface tile was removed and there was that old fashioned black and white tile that is embedded in 4 inches of concrete! They used a mini Jack hammer to get it out. They had lots of options for us to choose from for the counter top. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves.”

The cost of the project was a bit on the high end, but it was worth the cost for extra attention to detail. While on site their contractors noticed some moisture under the floors another set of contractors were removing and about to lay floor over. They stopped the other contractors from making a potentially costly mistake and alerted us to the potential issue. I was extremely pleased with the level of communication we received throughout the process. We arrived unexpectedly on several occasions and always found the team working diligently. The crew was respectful of our time and our property. They did terrific work and left our home spotless when they were finished. I have and will recommend them to friends and family.”

“We have a high porch with pillars as you would see in the old southern homes yet there was never any railing around it which was very much needed for safety reasons. We hired Mr. Bales' company to put the railing up. It is perfect and looks so nice. We also had a water problem in our lower level laundry area. When the home was built, the walls were not properly finished so as to prevent ground water from seeping in anytime there was a heavy rainfall. The construction crew tore out part of the wall, waterproofed the entire area and put up new wall. At the same time, our hot water unit was in that room and they moved it to the corner of our garage and rebuilt wall and ceiling that was clumsily done in the building of the house. We also had them to put in new banister from upper to lower level. This company performed these jobs with extreme professionalism. The completed projects are proof of each worker's knowledge and experience in different areas of construction. I am sure that the men who work for Mr. Bales would attest to the great leadership and experience they have received from him on the job. They came in, got the jobs done, painted and cleaned up. We are totally satisfied with all that we had done and always call Bales when we have any project we are interested in doing.”
