“Tom came recommended to us by Renewal. After meeting with Tom and getting other estimates, we decided he was the one for the job. We were adding a screen porch and deck to our 1925 house and we felt Tom understood our vision. He dispelled any concerns we had due to our sloping yard and drainage problems.His crew graded and added drainage, removed a stone wall and built the porch into the slope in such a way that works very satisfactorily. I really had no idea what an improvement it would be.Tom was available by text or email or phone through out the whenever we had questions. He kept us up to date with the City of Atlanta permitting process and the inspection process.When the permits were recieved the work began almost immediately.The craftsmanship of his workers is of the highest quality and his crew were very diligent and showed good work ethic. Once the work got under way they were here every day.I can't say enough about how pleased we were to work with Tom on this project. We would recommend him to anyone looking to renovate. He is highly principled and the experience was a very good one.”

“I hired Jeff Raw of Black Dawg Construction to perform a full renovation of a foreclosure property I was in the process of acquiring. At the very outset Jeff was attentive to the details of the project; pointing out areas of improvement that could be obtained at little or no cost to the project as a whole. As the General Contractor; Jeff always organized his project managers and sub-contractors to complete the tasks needed to prepare for the very next step of the project. The Black Dawg Construction team were able to take the broken bones of a 1980's home and transformed it into an amazing retreat in which I reside. I would hire Jeff Raw to perform additional home repair or renovation projects with and feel confident that my initial vision will be accomplished beyond what I'd hoped.”

“Manzer Contracting does top-notch work and it is always a pleasure working with this general contractor. Manzer has completed several large remodeling jobs for us including: complete master bath and closet remodel, complete basement remodel, a front door stoop remodel (replace single door with double, add a roof structure over door stoop and rebuild the brick stairs to the stoop), and also a back deck remodel/update. In each project, they worked closely with us through all stages of the remodel, including the initial design/conceptual stage and budgeting stage which was helpful to us. It is worth noting the project stayed on budget (except in those few cases where we decided to add a change request at our additional cost). Their design consultant, Jenny, was extremely helpful in guiding us through some of the up-front design decisions as well as more specific design choices later in the project such as lighting, flooring, tile selections, etc. Manzer's on-site crew has always been prompt, hard-working and respectful. In each case they kept the work site as clean as possible from one day to the next. Overall, the communication from day to day with respect to the project schedule was always clear and effective. We continue to enjoy the updates Manzer Contracting made in our home and we are thankful to have been able to work with such a wonderful group.”

“I first met Dwight Austin in 2019, when he was assigned to renovate my kitchen after water damage. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and I can attest that Mr. Austin displayed a level of professionalism and honesty that is seldom matched. He was such a gentleman and really made me feel comfortable. He kept me advised on ever step of the way by giving me regular updates on the process and progress of the work being done on my kitchen, which I loved. His team of workers were always punctual and hard working. I was truly impressed with the outcome and outstanding work done on my kitchen. When I decided to do any future work on my house, it is with no hesitation that I contact Mr. Austin for the job. I was so impressed with his work .”

“We had a wonderful experience using House Doctors. We hired them to put a tile floor in our bathroom. They were always on time for all appointments. The floor was put in and finished in the time frame promised. Everyone we worked with from House Doctors was friendly and helpful. The floor looks wonderful and we are so happy that we chose the House Doctors for this project. We highly recommend them!”
