“Wonderful experience with James and Barrybuilt. He helped get plans resolved when our architect dropped the ball and disappeared. I was a novice at remodeling and James stepped in and worked with me and the city. My kitchen, dining room and TV room turned out beautifully and many of the items in the kitchen redo were very innovative. We worked with the latest products to make this kitchen special and in the forefront of design and materials. Great workmanship and so patient and he took the time to explain details. I recommended him to 3 other interested parties in our neighborhood and would gladly work with him again.”

“Allison and her team were patient with me throughout the entire process as we ran into several delays with the HOA and the city to get the renovation moving forward. She's very resourceful, courteous and extremely hard working. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty either! Even when I wasn't too happy with a certain subcontractor, she addressed the situation immediately and professionally. Her team is awesome too! I was ecstatic with the end product and I couldn't have done it without Allison.”

“So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“Great experience and outcome with removing an failing retaining wall and a ton of foliage and replacing the wall. Clarke was very quick to respond to our initial inquiry and kept us informed throughout the process. His estimate was fair, and his workers were prompt and worked quickly. They worked hard, were professional, Ido was very helpful and informed me about working progress all the time. They guarantee timely completion within budget, workmanship, strong communication with regular updates and minimal disruptions. When selecting a general contractor, we consider punctuality, professionalism, quality of work, communication, and problem-solving ability. I highly recommend KIBA and Jonathan. They may not have the same skill set as the Toll Brothers but they are the best in your market.”

They are honest and up front about the entire process so we knew what the issues would be before the project started, and they expertly managed the renovation throughout the entire job, start to finish. They did what they said they would do, and I'm so happy we found them. The job turned out beautiful, and I couldn't recommend them more.”
