“Our experience with Maynard Construction was absolutely incredible. From the first time we met Jesse, who oversaw the entire kitchen renovation project, he impressed us as a straight shooter, an excellent problem-solver and a good listener. His quote was fair and he made it clear that he stands by the quality of his work. Jesse also exhibited flexibility and the ability to adapt on the fly. A perfect example was the water that we found in the ceiling (a previous problem we had long before Maynard Construction started work) literally the day after the plaster had dried on the new ceiling. Jesse came over and investigated the problem, found the leak in the roof (diagnosed the insulation problem in the attic while he was at it!) and solved the problem for a very reasonable extra cost. Basically, we felt like Jesse was an honest and true partner in this kitchen project, not just a constructor looking to take advantage to pad his pockets. Furthermore, Jesse was responsive to my texts, emails, and phone calls, always getting back to me within 24 hours. He has the perfect disposition for his line of work: he is thoughtful, calm, creative, polite, and professional. Construction projects are, by definition, expensive and stressful. Every one of our interactions with Jesse brought us peace of mind!! We have the utmost respect for Chris, who was the main worker throughout the project. He is highly skilled and professional. He was a good listener as well, and took his time to measure, level, consider all possibilities, and did everything with clear attention to detail. All Jesse's guys were tidy and patient with our frequent questions / kids running around, etc. I would strongly recommend Maynard to anyone. I can’t overstate how much the renovated kitchen has changed our house: we all basically LIVE in the kitchen now and are already planning what we want to do to renovate the bathrooms. When we are ready, we will only make one call. We won’t trust our house to anyone else but Maynard Construction. We put our hopes and dreams in their hands and they did not disappoint.”

“After reviewing our proposed shower project with 3 different contractors, we were lucky to have Charlie Adcock, owner of of Woodworks Construction Company, become our forth contractor to review the project. We wanted remove and replace a fiberglass corner shower unit in our master bath. The master bath had radiant heating under the floor tiles. This became a real concern to the other 3 contractors, so much so that they could not work with us to come up with a design that we would be happy with. My wife and I had a few brainstorming sessions with Charlie and he came up with a unique approach to building a beautiful, highly functional large shower that we love! The new shower has beautiful tile on the walls and the floor. Charlie also worked with Federal Glass Company to manufacture and install clear glass panels and a glass door. The entire job was done in a timely fashion, the job site was always neat and clean and all debris was removed on a daily basis. Charlie was the direct interface with the tile installer, the plumber and the glass company. The price for the entire job was fair and the payments were spread out nicely . We were thrilled to have Charlie build this shower for us and we will hire him again for other task in our home. Dave Wilkie 252 Cedar Street Milford, Mass Retired Senior Manufacturing Engineer”

“We worked with JPS Construction and design on a large renovation of a dated contemporary waterfront house. They worked closely with us and our architect in the design phase to ensure our vision was brought to life. Through phone, text, and email, JPS was in constant contact and many on site questions could be answered in a timely manner through the use of photos. Our new house is spectacular and couldn't have been done without the hard work of JPS Construction and Design. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”

“It was a very excellent experience. Before he started a new portion of the building process he would always check to make sure that everything that was done prior to the next step was done correctly. This was a valuable learning lesson for my husband and myself. When he again checked the mason's pillars he found that 2 of the 7 were not level. We contacted a mason to correct the problem prior to any additional work was done that would have had to been redone had this not been caught. He followed the structural engineer's drawings to the letter and required all subcontractors to do the same. He was an excellent teacher. Patient and knowledgeable and always courteous. We saw him as our personal "Mike Holmes" the star of the reality show " Holmes on Holmes". The job was done on time and to our complete satisfaction. His thoughtful planning of what the costs are and what a project entales is not always understood by the homeowner, but he is always willing to explain why something must be done to secure the integrity of the building of your project- just like Mike Holmes on his TV show. He also removed the old deck flooring carefully and we were able to give it someone else to use in a smaller setting. Our decking flooring is called Moisture Shield and it has hidden nails. This is far more time consuming to install but he assured us we would be much happier with the end result and we are. He also told us to have a cement slap under the steps. The previous steps did not and although they were only 7 years old they were broken and not sturdy. Our new steps land on a stone patio and are very secure. The deck is not just a deck to us. It literally transformed our entire backyard. We highly recommend Robert McNitt Construction Company for your building needs. He does excellent work. As a follow up comment we have had several neighbors and friends visit our beautiful deck. Many have come to ask about the process and admire the quality of the work. Our home has also been featured in a local magazine and the deck was a huge point of interest to the editor.”
