“We hired Patrick Drury of Eleven Construction to do a complete kitchen remodel for us. This involved completely gutting the old kitchen, removing the floor, tearing down a wall, and installing steel beams. He completed the work in about 3 months, and it was flawless. Patrick is reliable, organized, detail oriented, punctual, honest, friendly, and he has a great group of subs who work with him. He takes great pride in his work, and the final result was beautiful. “We have used Tom to do a number of remodel and construction jobs for us over the years. He worked on our present home to correct the wiring (it's amazing the house had not burned down!), put in an additional closet, changed the lighting in the kitchen and much more before we moved in. He brought our master bath design to completion that included having to lower the drain for the shower so we could have a linear drain, relocate plumbing lines no longer needed with the removal of the tub, installed the new cabinets, did all the tile work, and kept the site clean each day before he left. We have always depended on him to do it all and do it well! When we had a plumbing leak in our rental he was there to put the foundation back, do the needed sheet rocking, painting and tile work so it looks like it never happened. We know when we call him, his prices will be fair and he shows up as agreed- two really big things to consider when hiring a contractor!”

“When we moved in to our new home in the Penryn area, our first project was to build a pool house. We knew no one in the area, but our neighbor recommended Newton Construction. We contacted them and Garet Newton came over to take a look at our project. We liked him immediately. He asked us to give him a week to get back to us with a bid. As promised, he called us back a week later to meet and discuss his bid. He brought with him a well thought out proposal and walked us through the entire project, discussing costs and options for every aspect of the construction. We were very impressed with his thorough proposal and we signed with Newton Construction to do our project. Garet Newton is a professional in every sense of the word. He looks you in the eye when he speaks to you, is incredibly polite and keeps to his word. There were no unanticipated project costs or surprises during our project. Any cost changes to the original bid were because of changes we made and approved. He is very good about communicating the schedule, letting you know when the various subcontractor's are due to arrive and how long they should be on the job. Most of the people that he works with are local guys or family, and are incredibly polite and efficient. His main guys, Mike, Dan and Steve are very hard working and super great guys to work with. In the end, our pool house project exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely delighted with the results of the work Garet performed. We would not hesitate to recommend Newton Construction to anyone looking for a quality contractor. They are very experienced, detail orientated and an absolute pleasure to work with.”
