Additionally, when those unexpected changes or problems arise, and they always do, he is the first to offer helpful suggestions and solutions. The best part is he is VERY competitive in his pricing and has a great sense of humor. Construction is a difficult and complex business, however, Glenn makes it seem easy.”

“Without any reservations, we highly recommend Calvin and can't say enough good things about him and the excellent work he does. We've worked with Calvin for over 10 years having him renovate and repair our aging Victorian era farmhouse. He is highly skilled, has a great aesthetic, and does impeccable work no matter what the project is. He does not cut corners, works within budgets, meets timelines, and has always kept us informed of the project's progress and any unforeseen problems. Calvin takes great pride in his work; is calm, quiet, and focused on the job; cleans up at the close of every day, and leaves the job site neat and clean. He has always come through for us. Calvin is also a pleasure and a joy to work with. He is absolutely trustworthy, honest, fair, dependable, respectful, and a person of great personal and professional integrity. “I am an interior designer in the San Francisco Bay Area and it has been my distinct pleasure to work with Frank Puliafico on many projects since 1992. His work, and that of his excellent crews, is of the highest quality and the experience of working with Frank is always a delight. Designers always worry about their projects but I never worry about a project if Frank is the builder. He is, at all times, organized, proactive, honest, dependable, trustworthy and smart. He has carefully trained his crews and they are some of the best craftsmen (and people) I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Frank has the breadth of knowledge and experience to assess a job, trouble-shoot any potential issues in advance, fairly price and prepare spreadsheets on both costs and schedule, and manage all aspects of the project effortlessly (or at least it seems that way!). “We're just a few weeks from moving into our renovated home--a time in our last renovation 9 years ago in Southern California when we wanted to kill our contractor--and not only do we still love Jed Linsley of Pterodactyl, and his fabulous crew, but we're immensely grateful to him for his insights, his suggested improvements to the original plans, his cost-saving efforts, and his general calmness and good humor. He's a pleasure to work with and his crew reflects his professionalism, expertise and friendliness. This is a group of guys that genuinely like each other, work collaboratively, and respect and enjoy their boss. We can't recommend Pterodactyl highly enough.”

“I had JJ&T build a redwood deck and set up electrical connections to a new hot tub. While doing this work they did other electrical work needed in my aging home, including upgrading the circuit breakers. The quality of work on the deck was excellent. The advice and suggestions for electrical connections and made access to electricity around the deck (backyard) easy. Great work! When Dominic said that he and his crew would be there, they were. They completed jobs on time and as promised. Hope your experience with JJ&T is equally as good.”

“My experiences with Jason McClure have all been extremely positive! He is a true professional and a great person to work with. He has done projects in my parents former home that my niece and her family now live in. He did several projects on site. Electrical, plumbing, insulation, lighting, roofing, painting, tile work, bridge repair and other jobs as requested. He has some wonderful ideas, but always listened to what was wanted and offered his expert advice on what would work best. Jason has done projects for me for the past 3 to 4 years. Jason also did some landscaping work at my home as well as a covered area on an existing arbor. He and his family are wonderful and always will have a positive review from me!! My entire family now uses Jason McClure for their contracting needs!! H. Romero”

“Tanoak was AMAZING! They built a beautiful addition onto our home, including a primary bedroom/bathroom suite, a new hallway, and a laundry room. They worked with us and our architect to match the period and style of our home on both the exterior and interior. They matched the trim hardwood, window, exterior, and other detail work perfectly. Tanoak worked with us so we could live in the house while they did this work, which was no small feat in itself! Moreover, they came in around budget and time frame! Finally, they are just really good guys to have around the house. When you undergo a big renovation project, it's important to know that the people are good communicators and easy-going, on top of being skilled craftsman. We just couldn't be happier with the project!”
