He was able to plumb the walls and floors, fix the plumbing and electrical and get an 8 foot marble slab stone shower installed. David is very seasoned and has the gamut of skills to complete almost any job - from rough construction, foundations to installing cabinetry, hanging door and crown moulding. He will always try to make it right and not take the short cut just to complete the job. He is very precise in his work. If you want quality and attention to details, then David is your contractor.”

“When we moved in to our new home in the Penryn area, our first project was to build a pool house. We knew no one in the area, but our neighbor recommended Newton Construction. We contacted them and Garet Newton came over to take a look at our project. We liked him immediately. He asked us to give him a week to get back to us with a bid. As promised, he called us back a week later to meet and discuss his bid. He brought with him a well thought out proposal and walked us through the entire project, discussing costs and options for every aspect of the construction. We were very impressed with his thorough proposal and we signed with Newton Construction to do our project. Garet Newton is a professional in every sense of the word. He looks you in the eye when he speaks to you, is incredibly polite and keeps to his word. There were no unanticipated project costs or surprises during our project. Any cost changes to the original bid were because of changes we made and approved. He is very good about communicating the schedule, letting you know when the various subcontractor's are due to arrive and how long they should be on the job. Most of the people that he works with are local guys or family, and are incredibly polite and efficient. His main guys, Mike, Dan and Steve are very hard working and super great guys to work with. In the end, our pool house project exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely delighted with the results of the work Garet performed.
