“Sylvia Ellingwood and Kathy Yusiewicz brought a wealth of design knowledge and the gift of creativity when helping me redo my family room last summer. In their work with me, they helped stretch the budget without compromising quality. One example was helping me to repaint, antique and reupholster some very tired looking bergere chairs. “Christy has an excellent eye for color and texture and creates a room that flows beautifully by working complementary pieces together. She has the ability to work lower priced products in with some higher end products to give the room an upscale feel from top to bottom without breaking the bank. She can work with various styles and tastes to create a model home feel. Every room I have seen of hers is nothing short of gorgeous! I have worked with her on small projects in the past from color selections, to simple accent pieces, and larger scale remodeling projects as well. Without question, I would recommend her for your interior design project needs!”

“I would give Barb Lipe of Watermark Interiors 10 stars if that was an option!! Not only can I attest to Barb's amazing creativity, ease to work with, and all around professionalism, a host of many women who come through our offices would agree that she is a highly skilled and gifted designer -- even if they don't know her name. As the Executive Director of a non-profit counseling ministry for women, my vision was to create a space for our clients that was sacred -- beautifully decorated, warm, safe, and inviting. I called on Barb to help me and she was wonderful. We have been in this location for 5 years and still I get asked who did the decorating. I've also worked with Barb personally at my home. Because I'm the director of a non-profit (meaning limited budget), she was willing to work with me in a way that I could afford a professional decorator. I would tell her exactly how much time I could afford and she did everything possible to maximize that time and give me the most and best of her for my money. Not only is she creative and very good at what she does, she is also just plain FUN. A wise, beautiful, genuine woman -- no pretenses whatsoever. You could never go wrong hiring Barb Lipe of Watermark Interiors for your design needs!!”

“Adelene Keeler Smith is a truly gifted interior designer. What really impressed me was her ability to add layers of design and concept into a room that I may have seen as rather bland. She worked from the fundamentals of design and proceeded to make the room come alive with texture, form, color subtleties. She worked like a musician- accenting, highlighting, carrying a theme throughout the room, layering concept upon concept- all while keeping fresh and highly creative. I have followed Adelene's work for many years, but working with her first hand really showed me the depth and breadth of her giftedness. She is a consummate professional and very gracious. I recommend her without hesitation.”

“I worked with Kristin Bartone Interiors to redo our bathroom. Kristin was very professional and a delight to work with. She was great about working within our budget, and I love the result! Kristin was able to suggest which existing elements we could keep (thus cutting some expenses), and was able to coach me on how to perform some of the work myself. Kristin's sense of color is excellent. At first I wasn’t sure about some of her suggestions, wondering “should we just paint it a neutral, like white?” but I love the colors she recommended, and the contrast really made things “pop.” In the end, it saved me a lot of time as I wasn’t doing “trial and error,” and just did the work once. Our bathroom looks totally refreshed, all for a very reasonable price tag!”

“I didn't know where to turn to get ideas for my outdoor veranda, until a coworker recommended Deborah. Deborah asked questions about how many people I needed to seat, etc. then suggested we use my existing antique wicker and give it a facelift. I was hesitant, but she took the time to help me visualize rich brown furniture with an irresistible teal fabric. Through her connections, she was able to get the labor done reasonably, and they did an amazing job. Deborah has both extensive knowledge, and great sources for services and merchandise. My outdoor seating area has a distinctive look that we love, it looks better than I ever dreamed possible. And to think I was going to waste money on new furniture! ”
