“Within minutes of entering our new home for our initial consultation, Amy was able to navigate through our pile of collected treasures, gain a clear understanding of our style, and find a color scheme that we absolutely love. We hired her to design our living room and it is now our most favorite place to spend time in our home. She is quick to respond to any questions or concerns and has been a pleasure to work with. We will be hiring her again to help us with our master bathroom renovation.”

“This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

“We were thinking of making some changes to the exterior of our home, but were struggling with trying to visualize different elements, such as brick versus siding versus stone. We really needed someone who could create sample digital designs. A contractor recommended Emily to us. She was so easy to work with, budgeted her time accurately, and helped guide our thought process considering flow and function of the space. She was very organized, and we appreciated how clear and complete her communications were. Her knowledge was also of value as she was able to act as a liaison between us and the contractor, saving us quite a bit of time and effort. We would certainly consider working with Emily in the future.”

“Bathroom renovation currently in the planning/selecting stage. Experience in designing a modern bathroom that not only meets but exceeds the clients needs and expectations. Vast knowledge of companies that supply materials for the bathroom - faucets, shower doors, tiling, and especially vanities. Has a great eye for what materials work together. Especially patient, understanding and in-tune to a clients needs and whims and will ensure that the final project is completed on-time and within the budget agreed upon. I used this professional when staging my previous house for sale. The staging gave the 50-year-old house a much needed updated look and I was able to sell my house in one week and for a higher price than I would have without staging.”

“Working with Shila during the planning phase for my kitchen was invaluable. Her ideas allowed us to expand our vision for the room into the adjacent den to allow for a breakfast noon. She helped me work out many functional details that I would not have thought about prior. Many believe that you hire a designer to make a space "look" better but if you're working with a qualified designer like Shila you will learn quickly that she provides much more than that!”

“Sherri’s vision and attention to detail is second to none. We gave Sherri complete control of a total home renovation which included the Kitchen, Living, Dining, Family, Laundry and Powder Room. She listened to our needs and incorporated them into her own unique design. The completed renovation was way beyond what we could have ever imagined. It is timeless and elegant and allows each room to flow beautifully.
