“We went to Interiors Home in January 2020 and was introduced to Cece. We told her what our project entailed and she started asking very good questions. We couldn't pinpoint our own style so her questions got us to a place where we were able to come up with Modern Coastal. She also started having us pick out furniture we liked along with sitting, feeling, touching the different styles of furniture and fabrics. We had several follow up meetings and she came to our house, took pictures and from everything we had talked about, came up with amazing selections for our home. We had very few changes since she understood what we were trying to achieve from the start. Colors, fabrics, rugs, lighting, accessories, and paint colors came together beautifully. Because of her meticulous nature, there were very few, if any, issues with the final finished project. We couldn't be happier! Cece was very easy to work with, flexible, easy-going and a true professional. Her fresh designs are something we couldn't have come up with but are also classic so they won't go out of style. We will use Cece in the future when we are ready to finish the few spaces left in our house to renovate. We highly recommend Cece. Her ability to pull furniture, paint, wallpaper, flooring and accessories together is uncanny and truly the work of a wonderful talent.”

“I hired Trish Harsh Design for two projects in the family room. The first project was to choose wallpaper to accent one wall. The wallpaper that Trish helped me find was beautiful and elegant- exactly what I had hoped to find. It pulled the whole room together. The second project was to have replacement drapes made to fit a wall of windows in the same room. I wanted to replace the very expensive custom made ones that I had purchased recently that I disliked from the minute they were hung. Trish worked with me and my budget to achieve exactly the look I wanted. Her taste is excellent, and she is able to discern your taste and find the right look for you.”

I had the good fortune of working with Trish through most of the first part of the remodel. She designed our cabinets so that we have plenty of storage space and they are absolutely beautiful as well as being functional. The shower tile and floor design are simple, but really help to make the wall color pop. We are now using her another project in Spring 2018. “Having discovered Vara, Inc. on the internet, we have worked with Laura Lacovara and her team extensively three times over a period of several years. We originally chose Laura due to her being a member of ASID, and the impressive work samples on her website. Laura is professional, dependable, hard-working, fair-minded, and quite personable. She is also down to earth, compassionate, and honest. Her knowledge, creativity, and design work speak for themselves. Laura allows a client to be as hands on (or not!) as one desires. She is willing to reuse and/or repurpose items that are still serviceable, rather than purging everything (unless you want to!). This practice helps one to most efficiently use available funds. Laura works with her clients as the project progresses, and allows prioritizing, additions, and changes if the need arises. Laura is a perfectionist, with an eye for details, and won't be happy unless you are! Over the years, Laura has designed our family room, sunroom, living room, master bedroom with sitting area, and is currently remodeling our master bath. Additionally, she has done numerous small projects for us, such as recovering the dining room chair seats, helping us find the perfect high-quality kitchen table and chairs for a small space, doing a mini-update in our powder room, and adding a safety rail to the front porch (in progress now). It's fun and satisfying to complete a project with Laura, but so sad to see her and her team leave!”

“Erin is the best! Our house looks fantastic! She did a great job of bringing in new items and incorporating "special" items we already had to help it feel like our home. Erin was good at incorporating high end "decorator" items and items from "regular" stores as well. She is excited about her work and has great contacts for all the extras...carpets, furniture, wallpaper, painting, etc. She always came with great options, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor. Its been several months since the bulk of the decorating has been completed and I am still completely in love with how it all looks!”
