“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. Finally, as first time homebuilders, the process of building, designing and decorating a home can be very intimidating. Parkyn Design made this process fun and enjoyable. Tania and her team brought such excitement and passion to our job! Sometimes it was hard to tell who was more excited - them or us! Overall, this is a top-notch design studio. “Natalie Froom handled the entire project with care and with knowledge that helped us have two extremely well designed and most functional lovely bathrooms in all aspects. “We hired Dhiraj to modify and re-do the full basement and found his recommendations and advise to be awesome. His suggestions helped us to better utilize the space\area we wanted to modify. He did some electrical work and fixed some major issues, plumbing - created a new washroom\shower stall, He recommended a gas line for the dryer and cooking range, as well as one for the outside bar-b-que. His finishing was excellent. I was particularly happy with his attention to detail. It was all very well done. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely hire him again in the future. ( I actually had to hire his services again as I was affected by the great flood in 2013). He again saw to it, that everything was completed and looked the same like before.”

Irene and Bill Turnbull provided within our budget, a turnkey solution in our addition which included the preparation and overseeing of all architectural and engineering drawings, obtaining permits, choosing appropriate finishing materials, hiring qualified tradesmen and supervision right through to the completion of the project. Irene always delights us with her profound knowledge in decorating our homes, giving good advice in lighting, choosing paint palette, fabrics, window dressings and essential how-tos to pull it off in our own way. We use Turnbull Interiors for all our renovation and interior decorating needs because they have always met and exceeded our expectations.”

“Over the course of the Spring of 2013, Revi Mula of Monaco Interiors helped us to design and renovate our basement. Revi was very easy to work with, very professional, and was a good listener. I had strong ideas of my own, and Revi was willing to incorporate them into the overall design of our space. At each phase of construction, Revi would create her drawings and then consult with us about them. We had a large, unfinished and open space, to start with. Revi hired only the best, most highly-skilled tradesmen to do everything for us, from the ductwork to the framing, drywalling and painting, electrical work, flooring, and everything in between. Revi cares about her firm's reputation and she will only work with people who are honest, hardworking and trustworthy and who do the job properly, and in a timely manner. The work space was kept clean, which mattered to us. We ended up with a very pleasing design for a practical work/play area that feels spacious and bright, yet uses every inch of space in a functional way. We now have an extra 3-piece bath, a closet below stairs, a walk-in pantry, a work/studio area, a beautiful seating/sleeping area with gas fireplace, book shelves and big-screen tv, and a games area as well as a new furnace room. Revi respected our budget and found us beautiful materials and furnishings that suited our style. Her tradespeople are very conscientious and and clearly have a good working relationship with Revi. She oversaw the work and made home visits at regular intervals for consultations and to check on the work. She maintains the highest standards for workmanship and final product, and any small problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Revi returned my phone calls and emails promptly, so our communication was excellent. I know that if you want good results, you have to work with people who take real pride in their work, and that's exactly what you get with Monaco Interiors. I would not hesitate to give Monaco Interiors the highest recommendation and have already referred them to some friends. We had a wonderful experience with Monaco Interiors and I would be delighted to work with them in future, should we need any more work done.”

“We hired Aloe to help design and renovate the den in our condo. What a pleasure to work with Chloe, the designer for our project! She was well-prepared for the consultation during our initial phone call, and took the effort to fully understood what we wanted. She addressed all of our needs and questions, and proposed a plan that is within our budget. Throughout the renovation, she kept a constant line of communication with us to make sure we were aware of what was going on. The project was completed on time and we were very happy that she transformed our den from an empty and unused space into a beautiful guest bedroom with storage in which we very much enjoy spending time. We had some friends stay over in the renovated room, and they really liked it! We are so glad that we chose Aloe as our designer. We would definitely recommend their professionalism and expertise to our friends.”
