“Mary Jo was a Godsend to us. When we first contacted her for our full basement renovation including the addition of a bedroom and bathroom, we were under an extremely short timeline. Although I knew making decisions in a short timeframe was far less than an ideal situation, she swooped in and came to our rescue! Her calm and professional approach and valuable input allowed us to efficiently make important and time-sensitive decisions about our remodel including paint color, tile and bathroom hardware selections. She delivered her expert opinions to us in a direct yet flexible manner and worked with our contractor in an extremely respectful and collaborative fashion. Despite the time crunch, she took the time to learn about our preferences and personal style and then made targeted recommendations to us. She was quick-to-respond to all our follow-up questions even after the 2 hour consult and was very generous with her time to help us finalize our selections. Our project was much-improved as a result of her expertise and targeted input and now that the construction work is done, I can see that our favorite aspects of the end product resulted from her direct influence. We recently started phase two of this project including seeking her guidance on furniture selections and placement and recommendations on things like carpets and window treatments. Now that we are able to work with Mary Jo at a more relaxed pace, we are really benefitting from her deep knowledge and expert input. Her “rules of thumb” are helping to determine the optimal furniture placement. When it comes to picking out rugs, window treatments and things like that, since she already learned our personal style, she is able to make targeted recommendations that really make the selection process easy for us. Instead of sifting through hundreds of possibilities, she is able to narrow it down to just a few solid choices for us. We are very grateful to have found Mary Jo. Her knowledge, expertise, direct communication and easy-going style have benefitted our project tremendously. She is our now our interior design guru and I highly recommend her!”

“I have worked with Kim on a variety of renovation projects in my home for the last few years. Together we have renovated a kitchen, a laundry room, a master bath, an office and are currently working on an outdoor deck. Each project has turned out better than the last. Kim is an exceptionally positive and uplifting person and I am blessed to have been introduced to her by mutual friends, for whom she designed another beautiful kitchen. Kim is an extraordinarily talented designer with a special skill set for knowing what will look fantastic in my home while delivering within my personal budget. Despite our seemingly different personal design styles, Kim manages to find exactly what I didn't know I wanted. “B4Design was contracted to take my 15 year old daughter's bedroom from a princess theme to a more age appropriate teenage theme that better represented her style. My daughter loved working with Lori and felt that she really understood what she wanted for her new look. She helped my daughter broaden her vison and encouraged her to expand her options that pleased both Mother and Daughter. “I was so happy to find this company that had unique, classy, and reasonably priced furnishings and designs for my new home. The owner and staff were true professionals, and my home design was immaculate. The different patterns and colors they put together was nothing that I would have been able to imagine, but an exact fulfillment of my vision! I still don't know how they accomplished that! “Sandie helped me design my two bathrooms in my gut renovation. I had a few ideas of tiles I liked, but I didn't know the best way to put them together. Sandie had great ideas and suggestions, making the seemingly overwhelming world of tile much more manageable. We ended up designing two bathrooms I really love! She was always very responsive and prompt, and I the mock ups she provided were very helpful when working with our contractor.”
