“Julia provides professional, cost-effective interior design services using a relaxed approach that takes a lot of the stress out of decorating. She has a great eye for color and sense of style and she can pull a room together quickly. Additionally, her use of on-line vendors eliminates a lot of the expense and guesswork that can hallmark the frustration of working with more traditional designers. “My husband and I recently bought a modest sized home and were overwhelmed with the idea of decorating it. I'm obsessed with Pinterest and looking up DIY home ideas, but I knew this called for a professional eye. We knew that we loved classical traditional but our budget wasn't huge and we had to find the right person who could understand our style and work within our means. We looked forever and couldn't find the right person. In walks Jessy Krol. I can't say enough about her. The minute we met her we were at ease. From the photos of other homes she has done, I was sure she was out of our league but I was mistaken. She was sensible, laid back but firm with helping us come up with a game plan so that in a course of time, we can slowly build up the interior to create our dream home. She was able to use the items we already had, add some new things and work with us to create a gorgeous home. I am beyond thrilled! Our foyer, living and dining room were a first priority and she knew exactly what to do to without over selling anything and never pressuring us to go over budget. I'm in love with my dining room table and it's not something I would ever had thought to pick out! Some ideas she had were so out of the box and worked perfectly to make our space even larger and more suitable to our lifestyle. She was always available to us for questions and even gave us tips for other rooms. Many times I even texted her from HOMEGOODS to ask her about what towels to buy and if she liked a lamp for my daughter's room. We had a blast working with her and can't wait to do the master bedroom! I just have to convince the hubby for round 2 :)”

Vast knowledge of companies that supply materials for the bathroom - faucets, shower doors, tiling, and especially vanities. Has a great eye for what materials work together. Especially patient, understanding and in-tune to a clients needs and whims and will ensure that the final project is completed on-time and within the budget agreed upon. I used this professional when staging my previous house for sale. The staging gave the 50-year-old house a much needed updated look and I was able to sell my house in one week and for a higher price than I would have without staging.”

“I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!”
