“Working with Zimmer Design has been an amazing experience. The design work has been excellent. It's thrilling to live in the space she designed for us. It was perfect! She also did a great job of navigating the hard parts - conflicting input, past deadlines (not her doing), going to bat when things arrived damaged. As we move into the next phase, she picked out the the perfect wallpaper and materials as well as had great ideas. Highly recommend.”

“I had a wonderful time working with Martha and her team. I was nervous to work with a designer for the first time, but Carrie and Martha made me feel completely at ease with the entire process. Going into our family room remodel, I wasn't sure about how everything would fit into my budget, but they helped me figure out what made the most sense for me. And it was amazing how well Carrie stuck to our plan! Even when my new sofa wasn't going to make it in time for a family gathering, she found and delivered a replacement for me to use until my actual furniture arrived. It would have been impossible for me to do this all on my own, and we love our new family room! Thank you girls!”

He goes above and beyond and his attention to detail is unmatched. Our last project was part of a remodel and addition that we did and he managed all aspects, from wallpaper, flooring to furniture and decor. He is attentive to the needs of the family and to the things that are important to them but is not afraid to push the decorative boundaries to finish the look. “Sydney and Michelle are the best! They made my kitchen remodel so easy by helping select new counter tops, tile and paint that completely transformed the look and feel of our whole house (and stayed within our budget). We were so pleased that we hired them again to revamp our lake house. We painted some of what used to be floor to ceiling knotty pine to bright everything up, added new lighting throughout and a few key pieces of furniture. We have received so many compliments on both projects, definitely recommend!”

“I have worked with Laura Bischoff of Metropolis Design Group on two occasions--both with my 1924 family home in Tangletown in South Minneapolis and with my "empty-nest" modern condo on the river downtown. I loved working with her both times and highly recommend her. She is fun, kind, smart and great to be around and brings a wide variety of skills and a depth of knowledge that dramatically increases what is possible. She is hands-on--painting a lovely graphic element to make a focal point of a set of kitchen cupboards, for example--and also can access whatever other resources (both people and materials) that are needed. She has great ideas to extend a budget, a wonderful eye for color and texture. With both my homes, she helped create a sophisticated and wonderfully comfortable background for my life. I look forward to working with her again!”

“I loved working with Mel! I have had the privilege to work with her while she was an Art Director at Periscope. One of the projects we worked on was the interior design of a major public transportation hub in Los Angeles. Mel used images and quotes to make a stinky outdated location look modern and beautiful. She traveled to the location so she could bring back over 100 photos of all the various nuances so she could put together a flawless design to transform the environment. From signage on the stairs as people exited the station, around the posts, along the floor and walls she design every element with the total design in mind. If she can make a transportation hub look cool she can make any home look amazing. - Tanya”
