Her electrician met with me, conveniently on my next available day off, and came back a few days later and completed the job. Done perfectly and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. “I loved working with Kelly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity, but designs something that fits YOU. My husband, daughter and I had just moved from NYC to LA, so we hired Kelly to help us design a space that reflected our energy, experiences, personality and the SoCal vibe. I always dreamed of going lighter with color in a living space, but never had the guts. Kelly listened intently to what we had to say and then suggested risky and creative ideas based on our conversation, budget and key pieces of furniture we wanted to keep. As a result, Kelly turned our apartment into our home...that looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. People walk in and are stunned at how unique it looks in its vibrancy and style, while still reflecting who we are. Kelly told us in our initial meeting that we would love it, we would not know which room we liked the best, and we would never want to move out. Mission accomplished. We absolutely love it! Also, Kelly is an extremely warm-hearted, kind individual, and she made the process fun and easy (which was such a blessing as we were juggling a cross country move, a 1 year old and new jobs). She responded to emails promptly and effectively, and moved through our project with the pace at which we were comfortable. If we ever move again (which I don't want to now!!!) I will hire Kelly in a heartbeat. :)”

“We recently finished a remodel of our mid-century kitchen and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Tony and Dawn are amazing and their eye for design is impeccable...what I was most impressed with was how detailed they were and that they listened to our needs. We wanted a kitchen that looked great but was also functional, and they delivered! My wife and I both work, so it was important to us to know that they were there to handle all the small details and be on site to work with contractors, handymen, etc. No doubt, remodeling a kitchen is stressful but Tony and Dawn were so accommodating and made the project much easier than it would have been otherwise. The final photo shoot was bittersweet -- everything looked amazing but we were a little sad the project was over since working with Tony and Dawn was such a pleasure. I can't recommend them highly enough. Check out the photos of the Chevron marble back splash in the Yelp photo album toward the end and also on their website.”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit. I highly recommend Dreamlife Designs, your dreams will definitely come true if you choose to work with Jenn and her team. Mary A. (Mill Valley, Ca.)”
