“Design Milieu was an excellent firm to work with on the redesign of the office in our 125 year old Victorian. Karen Bengel, the owner, took a very odd layout and revamped it in a way that's beautiful and versatile. It was exceedingly easy to work with Karen since she truly took into account our needs and preferences. The end result was a beautiful space that works for our family. I would highly recommend Design Milieu to anyone looking for a designer.”

“Haus Interior Design is amazing! Remodeling is a stressful process but Kirsten Kaplan kept us sane! Not only does she have an amazing eye for design detail, but she worked extremely well with our subcontractors making sure our remodel timeline and expectations were met. We did a full kitchen renovation and Kirsten was instrumental in helping us choose everything from the hardwood floors to the cabinet hardware. Not only was she able to find us some amazing grasscloth for a fabulous focal wall, she knew the right people to call for a flawless install. The result is one amazing kitchen!”

“We engaged Danziger Design LLC as our overall project management team for renovation design consultation and interior design. Wendy Danziger is a 25-year veteran with a distinguished track record for creativity in specialized design projects, both large and small, both residential and commercial. She has vision. She's extraordinary in understanding her client's needs and preferences while bringing ideas and solutions that are within budget and efficiently implemented. She has developed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room designs for us that brought a cohesive look to our entire home. Her use of color is exceptional and the coordination of rugs, textiles and artwork was brought together with a keen eye and understanding of our preferences. Wendy's thoughtful and cooperative relationship with builder, electrical, painting, furniture and textile specialists enables her to synchronize an interior design project efficiently to get the job done with minimal distruption to occupants. Together with the seasoning, skills and expertise noted above, Wendy is unique among design consultants in that she actively listens to the client to develop a plan/budget to suit - as opposed to many other designers who seem to want to focus on their own preferred aproach regardless of the client's needs. “I had a wonderful experience working with Liza Holder from Homegrown Decor. We built a house from the ground up, and we couldn't have done it without Liza's help! Her eye for detail yet ability to focus on the big picture - all while remaining calm and super practical - made the whole process fun and sanity-saving. From helping us pick out tile to appliances to paint colors and all our furnishings, she was able to convey our personal tastes so well. The best part? It truly looks like "our" home. She also worked within our budget, helped us repurpose old furniture and rugs, accessorize and even make our home kid- (we have four of them!) and dog-friendly. I highly recommend Liza. It was a pleasure! Friends walk in and the first thing they say is, "I love your house!"”

“I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

“Paula is fantastic! The value of her service is immeasurable. She redecorated our previous residence, including our master bedroom, kitchen, basement, and living, dining, and family rooms. When we sold our house (which was a mere 19 days on the market, thanks in large part to Paula), I knew I would rely on her expertise, once again, to assist with the design choices in our newly-built home. Paula listened to our ideas, desires, and concerns, and translated them into interiors that are beautiful, functional, and within the parameters of our budget. She instinctively understood how to incorporated some of our existing pieces to create a stylish, clean, simply gorgeous atmosphere. I can't wait to begin our next project!”

“I have worked with Kim on two renovations; a kitchen and a hall bath. In both cases, Kim has been an enormous help. She knows the right people for the job, has great ideas and great imagination, and has the wisdom and tact to gently nudge me into another direction when I come up with some bone-headed idea that cannot possibly work. She's a joy to work with, and I'll probably be calling her again in the future.”
