“I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

“Janet Aurora of Decor and You took a huge hodge-podge basement full of cast-offs, under utilized antiques, builder grade/selection paint and zero personality and transformed it into a welcoming, warm, personable, fun and useable place. The basement now has a comfortable media viewing area, an area that can be used for projects, an attractive and much needed storage wall (with a service bar), conversation/reading nook for 4, two tables that can seat 16 for dinner, AND it can all be transformed into a party area (in which we comfortably hosted 47 people last weekend). She did an excellent job of incorporating my "memory pieces" (quilts, family furniture) with fresh new ideas, furniture, colors and patterns.....all within my budget. On top of it all, Janet was a blast to work with and even managed to pull my reluctant husband into the fray with her good humor and her ability to read people. This was not a "here is my plan, this is the way it will be" type of experience. I felt my input was carefully listened to. At the same time, I was told what might work better than some of my ideas and why. (And she was right...I guess that is why she is the professional!) Finally, the installers, painters, and construction people that she used were all top notch and friendly. An excellent experience, sort of sorry it is all over.”

“I asked Paola to provide a design for remodeling my bathroom with the goal of replacing the tub with a shower. My only request was that she retain my Mexican hand-painted ceramic sink. As the room is only 5 X 7, she had quite a challenge to update the room, giving an impression of more space, on a very small budget. Her design was perfect. All the materials to be used were low cost but did not look low cost. The finished product was well within my budget and looks great. I get many very positive reactions from family and friends. It is very impressive.”

“When I work with someone I want the best, and we found that with Lauren. We have worked with Lauren on several projects and were basically starting with a blank canvass and told her to "just do it." The only real parameters we gave her were that we wanted it to look and feel like a model home. Boy did it! Design, picking out fabrics, materials, colors, etc. are not our thing, essentially we only care about the finish project. Because Lauren spent the time upfront getting to know us personally she knew exactly what would work for us and our lifestyle. Time and again she delivers. Lauren is our Designer for life. She is simply incredible. Each project brings me both stress and peace at the same time. Mostly peace though because with Lauren I don't have to worry. I know my expectations will be exceeded. If you want the best, then you need to work with Lauren.”

“We have worked with Marisa for over a year on the remodel of our basement. We highly recommend her! We are probably unique clients because we did a lot of the work ourselves. Marisa was patient with us, worked at our pace, and was very responsive to our requests and questions during the remodel process. Our work with Marisa started by hiring her to help us design the space - entry way, living room, kids play area, exercise room, laundry room, guest room - including tearing down and building new walls. She provided a thorough lay out and design recommendations, including two great built-in shelving units and a new tiled gas fireplace. Her color, fabric, carpet, tile choices were spot-on. When furniture items were outside our budget range, she came up with good lower cost alternatives. And she always has recommendations for contractors or stores to meet our needs. Marisa is fabulous - her expertise is well worth the cost!”

Not only is she very professional but she has an eye for design that is simply intuitive (she didn't even have to measure most of the time). For a very reasonable fee, she will come to your home and help with your over - all design plan - where to place furniture, how high to hang your art, suggestions on lighting, rug placement and other design elements. “My husband and I hired J & L to help re-decorate an older home that we recently had purchased. Living, family, powder and dining room were all asked to be re-designed. Julie also has provided guidance and assistance during our kitchen remodel as well. We have asked for everything from paint palates, lighting, carpets and furniture to helping us choose the perfect stone for our kitchen counters. J and L have been creative, tasteful and very knowledgable in all aspects. I have spent a lot of time researching popular design, products and trends and wanted to make sure I chose a firm that was also update and knowledgeable.
