We enlisted John from Du Jour Living to design our kitchen after meeting a couple of other interior designers. The difference between Du Jour Living andothers was that John listened not only to our ultimate wish list for our space, but also to us as individuals and incorporated our personal style into the design. He made our kitchen very practical to use and researched appliances and finishes we were looking for. It was a tricky space to bring into the modern day, but his clever, practical design and knowledge of putting a kitchen together delivered an amazing space for us which we are very proud of. Another difference was that other designers wanted to make major structural changes and turn our home into an uber artistic show piece which would have cost us a fortune and not reflected us personally. John respected our budget and style preferences. We have have enlisted John for further project designs around our home and he has never failed to delight us with his ideas and product knowledge. I worked with John from Du Jour Living to completely redesign and renovate a two bedroom apartment. The aim was to make the apartment functional and low maintenance within a set budget. John worked closely with me to identify my objectives for the apartment and then turned them into design outcomes. For example, John changed the layout of the kitchen to create to a more open space, which flowed into the entertaining areas, being the dining/living room. In addition, John redesigned the bathroom to create a more practical space with classic colours and features. I attach photos of the bathroom before and after to demonstrate. John's creativity, adaptability and professionalism are outstanding. He is extremely talented and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend John for any design project!
