We asked Monique if she could help us design solutions to both utilise our space better, create extra storage solutions and discrete spaces to truly creat a 4 bedroom home. She took the time to really understand what we wanted and to get to know me. The designs presented were beautiful and right up our alley - I was surprised that we wanted so few changes and honestly most of those were more due to rethinking what our kids (and a newborns on the way) could do to some of the beautiful furniture she selected! What I really want to call out is that nothing has been too much trouble. Monique has gone above and beyond helping us find solutions, sourcing advice and putting us in touch with the right people to make this happen which has included getting changes approved through council. Whilst we haven’t started the work on our house yet I am 100% confident in Monique, the builder and joiner she has chosen and I couldn’t be happier that we had the luck of finding Sartorial Interiors. You never have to chase Monique. She is reliable, trustworthy and very creative. Referred to me by two of my friends (and unknown to each other!) We engaged Monique part way through the design and remodelling of our new purchase "empty nester". At all times we found Monique professional and always clearly communicating about the process. I had the pleasure of having Monique help me with redecorating multiple rooms. She has an amazing eye for design and colour, and knows how to make rooms fabulous AND functional. She helped bring my vision to life, and added her flair for colour to make it look better than I could have imagined (very glad I trusted her advice!). The contractors she uses were extremely professional, and the bespoke pieces delivered are of the highest quality. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

I have been working with Monique over a number of weeks to make the selections in preparation for the building of our new home. These selections included all external selections such as bricks, decorative stone for pillars, roof tiles, guttering, garage doors, external doors, external tiles, balustrades etc, and all internal selections such as the kitchen design and fixtures, floor tiles, all paint colours, bathroom fixtures and tiles, placement of light fixtures, stair and balustrade design and colours, carpets, doors, windorws etc. Monique's experience, expertise, committment, energy and enthusiasm, turned what could have been a stressful experience into a fun and exciting one. Monique listened to what I was hoping to achieve and formulated a vision and guided me in the selections. Her counselling and guidance allowed me to make braver decisions with the selections. Monique was able to visual the whole design / selections process, ensuring all the selections were comprehensive, cohesive and connected throughout the house. Monique is a real professional, who has a lovely warm manner, who inspires trust and confidence. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious and her expertise and professionalism very much appreciated.

We employed Sartorial Interiors to come up with a design for our master suite with ensuite and walk through robe. Monique was fantastic, she really understood our brief and came up with a great design plan which hit the brief 100%. The design touches were fantastic with some really clever and cost effective touches to give us something really unique. Other great benefits of using Sartorial Interiors was that all items were sourced by Monique and we had access to some great tradespeople to do the work making the whole process stress free. I spent a long time meeting with a variety of different designers and was just about to give up when I met Monique. Her ability to interpret my requirements and turn them into a magnificently (and extremely accurate!!) concept, full of ideas that suited my lifestyle, really did take all of the stress out of each phase of my project. I absolutely loved working with Sartorial Interiors and was thrilled with the result. Monique made me feel really comfortable right from our first meeting. She completely 'got' what I was looking to do, was willing to work within my budget, and came back with designs that were fantastic, and pushed my thinking beyond the normal. Monique also went above and beyond in the delivery phase, making sure things arrived, even collecting a package left outside while I was interstate herself and taking it home! Monique was outstanding. The Asylum Seekers Centre (ASC) in Newtown, is a community Centre supporting people seeking asylum living in the community. We employed Monique to design and revamp a large communal hall space used by the people we support to enjoy a daily lunch service, relax, socialise and feel welcome whilst awaiting the outcome of their visa application. Monique utilised the space efficiently, yet with warmth, colour and flare! She stuck to the brief and budget and timeline. Nothing was too much trouble. Monique is a delight. We live in a Victorian home and Monique managed to be sympathetic to the period while giving the decor a contemporary edge. So far she has transformed our ordinary family room into WOW! She has a wonderful sense of colour and space and was extremely patient with my indecisiveness. We returned from overseas to live in our house which had been rented for eight years. As expected it was looking rather shabby and we struggled coordinatimg the bits and pieces we had accumulated. I was attracted to Monique’s business because she had a clear schedule of fees on her web site and had experience with a range of project types and budgets. We started the process from the U.K. because I didn’t want to be living with half made and executed plans that I would end up only half liking. In short, our house has had an incredible transformation. It’s a joy to live in, look at and we get so many compliments. It’s fun, smart but not “untouchable” and planned to make our collection of electric memorabilia look like unique treasures! I had some vague notions which Monique translated perfectly into specifics. She had a ton of other ideas which she incoporated into a fantastic coherent whole. She even retained some of our furniture and even transformed some other bits spectacularly to keep to our budget. I wish everyone could see it! She recommended fabulous trades people when we didn’t have our own, some great “juzzying” tips and found creative ways around what we thought would be problems and which... well... weren’t! Monique has been fantastic, and I wish I had engaged her earlier. I was worried that if I employed a stylist I would be railroaded into spending more than I wanted, or pushed beyond my comfort zone. I found Monique had provided interesting creative ideas with her design, as I just wanted a new kitchen bench and walls painted but I had no I idea what colours I wanted. She suggested new carpet, lights and blinds as I didn’t intend to go that far although I did at the end, because I had a tighter budget than that would have allowed me.

Monique transformed our CBD Beauty salon to a chic boudoir that you just want to lounge in all day long. Her ideas are impeccable and she really goes out of her way to find the best fit for your style. Monique did 3 rooms for me, a master bedroom, kids bedroom and lounge area. She was a delight to work with, was happy to go back to the drawing board to meet my changing brief, and got the job done on time and within budget. I would recommend her work.

We purchased a penthouse apartment which the prior owner had made some interesting design choices, particularly in terms of colour. Whilst the apartment was only built in 2007 the bathrooms looked tired and generally the apartment did not have enough storage. Monique transformed the the entire apartment to be chic, stylish and practical for our day to day needs of having two young school age children and a dog. The design also means that we are now drawn to the amazing panoramic views from the upper level of the apartment and the bedrooms are an oasis. This meant renovating 3 bathrooms, painting, wall paper, furnishing (for indoors and outdoor large entertaining patio) and cabinetary. All of which was designed and selected by Monique. Thank you for an amazing transformation.

Monique from Sartorial Interiors absolutely read my mind, I knew what I wanted, but I couldn't put it together! Monique sat with me and I told her a little about our lifestyle etc. and the concept that she came up with was truly amazing. From the beautiful foyer with its gorgeous mirror and African Artwork down to the living room with it's amazing pop of colour, whereby just adding a beautiful textured rug with the most vibrant coloured fabrics made into cushions for the lounge, have turned the room into our favourite place to sit. Monique even helped me with placement of our artwork, mirrors and family photos on the wall. With these professional touches the house looks like something from out of a magazine, but very livable and inviting. The most astonishing part is that all the work was done in a very short time frame. I would thoroughly recommend Monique to anyone looking to add that special touch to their home.

Brief was only small in comparison to other works Monique undertakes but was undertaken as seriously and professionally as any other brief. The sourcing of products eliminated a lot of stress associated with a move to the city where choice was unlimited and a cause of angst . Monique from Satorial Interiors was instrumental in the complete redecorating of our beautiful home. Being busy professionals we did not have the time (nor the expert ability) to source bathroom tiles and fittings, curtains, blinds, additional furniture, floor coverings, kitchens, builders, painters and anything else that you can think of when you change everything in your home. Monique did all of this this to perfection and within just weeks. The end result was a better use space that looks utterly devine. When talking customer service - Monique shines bright like a diamond. Nothing is too much trouble, nor is her stamina to find the perfect piece. I was looking for something a little different - but not too crazy - for over my island bench. We found the perfect piece in a custom made timber linear light. We love it!

Monique pushed my out of my comfort zone, as a result I have the most beautiful bedrooms painted deep chocolate with white highlights. Love it so much. Feels cool in summer and cosy warm in winter. Boy am I glad I met Monique from Sartorial Interiors. I had been wanting to refurnish our three bedroom home for about two years and was at a stage of confusion and stress over the ordeal. Monique listened to my ideas and stuck to my taste and budget and made the experience what it should be - fun and exciting.
