We found Laura on Houzz by looking at some pictures of her prior projects, which we liked a lot. After contacting Laura, we did an initial meet up and her interior design style immediately clicked with what we had in mind. The planning and design stage went well and Laura presented great ideas and took in our feedback well. Moving into action, Laura has been a great project manager, managed our budget reliably and got us some really great deals along the way. The project was completed in about 3 month and the house has turned out wonderful and beyond our expectations. We would confidently recommend Laura for your home, she has done wonders to our new family home and we are confident she will do the same to yours.

We worked with Laura on our living room which needed some structure and just generally needed some “cozy-ing up”. She was incredible with lots of advice and great options we had not seen before and supported our crazy ideas when she thought they could work and gently reigned us in when they wouldn’t. I would love to use Laura again!

My husband and I are planning to sell in the next 12 months or so, but we needed new carpet so decided to freshen the place up and enjoy it for a while. Laura came up with great colour suggestions for the carpet and walls. When it came to styling Laura gently guided us towards something a little more luxurious looking than our usual safe style and we love it. When it came to furniture and other items, Laura always gave us several options which enabled my husband and I to choose items that we both liked. If we couldn’t agree, Laura would continue to come up with new ideas until we found something we both liked. An additional bonus was the occasional supplier discount we were able to access. Laura is fun and easy to work with and persevered with us through the slow times (we’re prone to analysis paralysis!) and was very respectful of our budget, which had been one of our concerns when deciding whether or not to hire a professional. So glad we did. We would definitely recommend Laura to our family and friends and will engage her again when the time comes. Thanks for everything Laura.

I have worked with Laura on a number of renovation projects. She has a great eye for design, materials and colours. She has a practical approach to design, that not only enables the renovation to look amazing but is practical and able to be built by suppliers. Laura helped my husband and me refresh our living/dining space after working closely with us for a few months. She helped us find a middle ground between our different tastes and we are so pleased with the finished result. Laura is fantastic and I can't recommend her enough! I had a brilliant apartment but furniture that I had been accumulating since college. Everything was bulky, dark and didn't match. I wanted something light, fresh, that would "wow" my guests, but not be overly pretentious. Laura got me exactly that. I absolutely love my place and host constantly. It is my happy place. I had no real experience with coordinated furniture buying and decorating. Laura took me step-by-step from initial ideas (colours, themes, feels) to story boards to mock-ups and then help set everything up while I was at work nonetheless. She gave me multiple choices for each item and was very patient with me. She taught me how to pick a foundational piece for each space and then build around that. I couldn't buy all at once and she worked with my over a few months to build a room at a time (probably much to her chagrin). One of the most important things she did was take me out of my comfort zone. For example, she showed me couches with metal legs when I was adamant on wood. I just couldn't get past how I didn't like the look of metal legs; pedantic I know but when it's your money, it's that expensive and you're going to have it for a long time you have to be picky. She saw everything working together and all I could see was each piece separately. From the couch legs to a circular coffee table to my kitchen table chairs, she thankfully got me out of my comfort zone and got me what I absolutely love now. She said "trust me" and I did. I wouldn't change a thing. That is exactly what I feel I paid for: professional advice that will give me something more than I can ever do on my own. I admittedly ran over budget by about 20%, but that was more to do with my lack of experience and unrealistic expectations than anything to do with Laura. She gave me options with H/M/L costing and I chose the more expensive items. Independently, without her wholesale prices, I would've easily spent 30%+ more and not gotten her advice or time to setup. I'll finish this very simply. Even though I have most of my "foundational" furniture, the next time I move I will hire Laura again to make my home special and my happy place. Hire her.

We hired Laura after buying our first home, as we wanted to make it as special as possible! Laura really understood the type of look we were going for - and how to make this work with our young family, also suggesting various storage "hacks". We are super happy with the end result. Laura has a great eye for design and is helpful in recommending and sourcing products that are of an excellent quality but affordable! Thank you for your hard work and help Laura! Not having worked with an interior designer before, we hired Laura after buying our first home. Laura made the whole process super easy for us. She took time to understand what we liked and helped guide us through the many options.
