Tennille did a fabulous job re-designing my lounge room. She took the time to learn about my taste and made her suggestions accordingly, I really enjoyed our planning sessions together. Loved her style, so went with most of her initial recommendations, but she was open to feedback, listened well and suggested alternates where required. Very organised with great attention to detail- samples were all labelled and bundled together by room, making it so easy. Tennille and her team transformed my place from a small, dark shack into an open air, yet comfortable home. Several years ago, Tennille appeared on the radar while styling our old home for sale. We are writing a review to acknowledge Tennille’s exceptional work. Initially, we liked how Tennille interviewed us just as much as we questioned her. After an initial consultation, we signed up to re-furbish our house from a 1970’s style to a modern look of today. Tennille was clear from the start on how the interior design process works. We even got to know ourselves better through her in-depth questionnaire! Quite a significant amount of work needed to be carried out, from new flooring, walls to be moved, new kitchen and bathrooms and painting. At the end of every stage, we felt confident that we made the right selections and much to our surprise, my partner and I agreed on most of the ideas presented. We were given honest and professional opinions that made sense both in form and function. I have to say that we are more than ecstatic with all of our selections – seeing everything finished, we can now look back and appreciate how Tennille, along with her team of trades, made the whole experience much easier and stress free than if we attempted the gigantic project ourselves. I first met Tennille when I commissioned her to design and project manage (in conjunction with my builder) a renovation of my apartment in Richmond. During this time working with Tennille, I found her to be a creative, conscientious and reliable individual with a warm smile. When the project finished stage 3, three months later, we continued our conversations and I always recommend her work to friends and colleagues. We were on budget, time allowance. I would never have been able to achieve the glamorous and sophisticated aesthetic that Tennille has produced and I am grateful for her services.

Tennille Joy Interiors were recommended by our builder when were first started out planning. We live overseas and in Melbourne, so we needed a professional to put trust to project manager. Tennille consulted in selections of lighting, furniture, rugs, art, cabinetry design, control 4 system motorised blinds and curtains. She has patience and knowledge with good Melbourne contacts. We knew we wanted quality and most Australian made products. We looked at lots of different fabric not from the same supplier. Tennille selected quality different fabric that worked with our colour palet. She designed cabinets for our study, a beautiful bed for our master bedroom, provided wallpaper options and helped with all furniture planning. She understood our sense of Feng Shui with modern style. We are very happy living in our fashionable home. Tennille has been good with follow up service and we would recommend her to our friends. My partner and I engaged in the services of Tennille Joy Interiors in 2014. We have worked closely over this time with Tennille, thanks to a recommendation by a friend. We contacted Tennille as we decided that it would be best to leave it up to the experts so we could save our time and stress levels of running around in circles. We started out having no idea on how to make our new build suit our lifestyle. We needed help on colour, materials and design. Tennille made the process seamless and communicated clearly in all of the stages. With her initial questionnaire, we discovered things about ourselves that we didn’t know! This started the ball rolling in what we wanted and with the help of innovative ideas, we were able to lock in all of the best selections. Tennille selected our external & internal colours and finishes with confidence and flair. We engaged in the design our kitchen, bathroom, ensuite, powder room and laundry. To be able to see the drawings and selection boards gave us clarification on how the design flowed throughout the home. We were able to give these schedules and drawings to the trades for accurate costings, therefore saving time and on the overall budget. During the building process, we entrusted Tennille with proposing furniture, rugs, art and window furnishings. Reason A – Tennille knew our house so well. Reason B – her passion for design resonates, along with her vast product knowledge. Reason C – we can’t make a decision without her! We are so happy that we invested in the services with the team at Tennille Joy Interiors and can’t thank them enough for their talent and hard work. Thanks again, team. Tennille has a great eye, and creates interiors that are well-balanced and elegant. Her use of space, light and textures is wonderful.

Tennille Joy Interiors was engaged as the Interior Design consultant for a high spec project home. The scope comprise of internal and external colour scheme selection, material selection and fittings for the four bedroom dwelling featuring an Ensuite, Bath and Powder room, Kitchen and Butler's pantry. Tennille was very easy to work with and can work within tight timeframes and tight budgets. Her unassuming demeanour masks a very talented & passionate interior designer with a keen eye for detail. Tennille's design skills and her ability to think outside the square allowed for stylish design outcomes to be achieved on this project. On a side note, this project home was recently sold achieving a record price in the area. The consistent and most common feedback from potential buyer was their love for the design and how it all (fixtures, fittings, textures, and colour scheme) worked so well together. Furthermore, the home was selected as a feature article in the Melbourne's Saturday Herald Sun with the focus of the photo-editorial on the trendy style and design aspects of the home.

Securing Tennille Joy Interiors to advise us on fabric and color selections was the best descision we have made on our recent home renovations.Tenille looked closely at color descisions made so far through out our home renovation,and her suggestion were nothing short of fantastic,for all the hard work and expense that had gone into our home up to this point, it was Tenille that made it shine.

Tennille was amazing in helping us clarify our ideas as well as introduce elements that we would never have thought of ourselves. The mammoth but critical task of choosing all the surfaces and colours was made a lot easier by working with concept boards that Tennille put together. We were able to see how the texture and colour selections interacted, and identify where we had the opportunity to be a bit more bold and creative. The tiles we initially thought would be too outrageous are now what gets the most positive comments from our friends! She was able to pinpoint our style and interpret it with the benefit of her knowledge and experience. We just love our new home.

Tenille consulted with us in planning our ensuite bathroom renovation. The new layout she designed is a winner, and something we just hadn't thought of! Moving the vanity unit and toilet onto a different wall really opens the room up, making it feel roomier and more elegant. We were very grateful for Tenille's patient handling of our enquiry, for her ready understanding of our needs, and pleasant way of suggesting solutions.
