“Mint Hill Cabinet Shop did a fantastic job building all of the cabinets in an extensive renovation that included a new kitchen, laundry, mudroom and family room. We could not be more pleased with their craftsmanship, and guests almost always remark that they love our cabinets. Jerry was a pleasure to work with. It was clear he was dedicated to making sure the final product met our expectations. He walked us through all of our options, and was quick to turn around an estimate based on what we selected. When it was time to pick finishes, he created a number of samples (even adding in his own ideas, one of which we picked!) so we could confidently make a choice. The perimeter kitchen cabinets are painted, with inset shaker-style doors and antique glass at the top. The island is a beautiful stained knotty alder with custom legs. In our family room, Mint Hill built the lower cabinets with geometric cutout MDF screening panels so the cabinet is ventilated for our electronics. Remotes work great while the doors are closed, and the cabinets look beautiful. They built a custom mantle for the living room, and a custom shoe bench and shelf for our mudroom. The laundry room cabinets have a built-in area for our washer and dryer and accommodate a farmhouse sink. They are also painted inset shaker doors, with full antique glass uppers along the sink wall for displaying china and crystal. I can’t say enough good things about Mint Hill Cabinet Shop, and will definitely use them on our next project.”

Bill is exceptional in every way: craftsmanship; attention to function, form and details; professionalism; reliability; customer service and just plain likeability! Bill can build anything and he did an excellent job with every part of our project from Sheetrock to beadboard to mouldings and trim work. He always maintains a clean workplace and is very respectful of your home. I would hire Bill again in a second should I have another project. He is a superb craftsman and a joy to work with!”

He was very helpful with suggestions, ideas, and changes that were needed to get exactly what we wanted. Angelo was there during the install to address questions and concerns that we had. They have amazing customer service and we plan on having them back for the 2nd phase remodel we will complete in about 6 months. “After spending considerable time looking in vain for a qualified builder for a custom display cabinet for my 6-foot tall scale model, I was excited when I finally found Citified Woods. Following an initial phone conversation, Myers Guthrie visited my home to gain an insight of my project, and after a 15 minute conversation, I was 100 percent certain he fully grasped what I wanted. He promptly created a few preliminary CAD drawings for my review and proposed several changes and enhancements that I hadn't considered. Myers then provided a detailed contract which I approved and he began work on the cabinet immediately. As the project was nearing completion, he brought the unfinished piece to my home for a test fit, lighting check, and assembly/disassembly trial run. This courtesy, along with several revisions and enhancements to the cabinet detail and lighting system, was extended at no charge or adjustment to the initial contract. I am elated with the completed display cabinet as it has by far exceeded my vision and expectations, due mostly to the exquisite workmanship and creativity of Citified Woods. The project was completed in a timely manner at the original contract price. Myers Guthrie knows what he's doing when it comes to fine work working; he is remarkably creative and loves the challenge of a unique project. I would highly recommend Citified Woods for any high-end, custom woodworking project.”
