We began working with Cathy Reed to redesign our kitchen space. She looked at our existing layout and came up with the most effective and visually appealing option for the redesign. Moving forward, the scheduling of our remodel worked well, with the plan for us to be non-functional in the kitchen for only 2-3 weeks. George, Ty ,Mark and Jose arrived in our home and moved quickly through the demo and remodel. Right in the middle of the work, Hurricane Sandy happened, but Fleetwood worked through the aftermath and was able to keep our schedule and we were back using our kitchen within 2 1/2 weeks from the start. They worked with their electrical and plumbing subs, the counter fabricator, and the town with the inspections to make it all happen. The attention to detail and craftsmanship on all of the finish work is perfect, corners on the trim, etc.. Jose and Ty did fantastic tile work on my backsplash. Overall, I LOVE my new kitchen and LOVED working with Fleetwood!”

“We love our new kitchen. Open Door Building Solutions was a joy to work with from the start. Emily started by asking all the questions we hadn't considered. How were we going to use the space? What's most important to us? She counseled us about many things we had overlooked things like door closures, hinges and the right quality cabinetry to fit in our budget. The helped us prioritize where to spend our money and where we could save. The design process was longer than I anticipated, but the OBDS team was patient as we weighed our options. They answered our questions, listened to our requests and quickly adjusted plans accordingly. We had a lot of questions, about everything, but calls and emails were responded to promptly and I never felt like a burden. Once we decided on the final design, materials etc., Emily reviewed our complete order in detail, confirmed pricing and submitted it to the cabinet manufaturer. Our cabinets arrived a week early with no issues. The installation process was relatively seamless, save for a few issues with our house (not the cabinets). Once the cabinets were in place, Open Door brought us several counter samples based on what we liked and our budget. She helped coordinate our granite order and ensured that everything was in place for timely delivery. My wife and I enjoy cooking and entertaining.
