“I hired Deutch Design to totally remodel my kitchen, laundry room and living room. We are so pleased with the results. Frank gave us great design ideas that were creative and brought those designs to life. Our kitchen now has custom made cabinets, soft close drawers, counter tops made from a beautiful brazilian cherry hardwood, and a 13.5 foot island in the middle. He also added speakers in the ceiling of the kitchen & dining room for music & television. The floors are an awesome tile that has a slate look to them. Frank took what was a messy laundry room and has transformed it into a well-organized area. We had a 500 sq foot living room addition built by a contractor. Frank built us a home entertainment center that is just over 20-ft wide. He installed a motor that allows the TV to descend into the cabinets when not in use & to lift up by remote control when we are ready to use it. He also built a surround sound system that has theater quality sound. He also built a beautiful fireplace mantel to match the entertainment center. We have been so pleased with the superior work by Deutch Design that we have already hired the company to build us a new fence and to install outdoor speakers on our back deck and patio. I highly recommend Deutch Design!”

When my wife and I decided to have a built-in bookcase installed, Timothy came to our house, listened to what we wanted, gave his advice, showed us some pictures of previous work for comparison, gave us a price, and a week later brought to life the exact vision of what we were expecting. He matched the existing trim and baseboards perfectly. Timothy had a mentor that he quoted as saying, "Caulk is a bad excuse for lousy carpentry." He has brought this motto into this business where he strives to make every piece of wood look good and fit properly.”

“Master Works built us a beautiful bathroom vanity for our newly renovated bathroom. It was custom made piece to fit the space. Carpentry was excellent and quality materials were used. In addition, we have also had Cabinet Works make several cabinet doors for us to match existing cabinets. Once again- excellent quality and craftsmanship. For both jobs, turn-around time was very fast and customer service was above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

“Whitaker Mill Works just completed a kitchen rennovation in my 1930's bungalow and I couldn't be happier with the experience! First, there is not a square wall in the house, the floor slopes from one side to the other. Basically, a nightmare for installation of cabinetry. They tackled the project (and it's headaches) with enthusiasm and conquered every challenge my old bungalow threw at them :) The result is stunning! I've worked with many contractors and these guys are top notch! Each day they cleaned and left no trace of their efforts. The crew was extremely friendly and reassuring. They worked around my schedule (and dog) and communicated well throughout the process. They made excellent suggestions and even drew sketches on site to explailn their thoughts. This was extremely helpful for a visual person such as myself. Finally, they made sure everything was perfect before closing out the job. Their attention to detail was impressive! I highly recommend these guys and will use them again for any future projects!”

“Brassfield Custom Wood Works completed both a curio cabinet to house the Aesculapius staff and the Hippocratic oath cabinet for Duke School of Medicine. The Barbour's were both a pleasure to work with and were reasonable in their pricing. Their understanding of our needs matched with their creativity exceeded what we had envisioned. “They constructed a set of cabinets for our Laundry room and made doors for the open cabinets that were already installed. We also had them to make and install slide out trays for all of of our existing kitchen cabinets and up grade the soft close hardware for the doors and drawers. They were very prompt with the cabinet build and arrived on time and worked until we were satisfied with everything. The installer was very cordial and neat during installation. He completed our install with out problems. They were also very good at making design suggestions for the cabinets when we had questions. My wife is very happy with her new cabinets and upgrades.”
