Andrew Dee @ Wonderful Kitchens

When it comes to kitchen design and remodelling, I doubt there are many more skilled and experienced than Andrew Dee. Andrew is a consummate professional. His knowledge of functional kitchen design, work flows, spatial requirements, layouts, styles, materials, finishes, appliances, etc is vast and impressive. But his broader understanding of the design, demolition, construction and installation timeframes and costs and the interdependencies of various trades and deliveries is what makes having Andrew manage a kitchen project so comforting, he gets all his ducks in a row and leaves the consumer confident everything is under control and on track. We hunted Andrew down from some signed kitchen plans after selling our house which was bought for it’s incredible kitchen, and sold again based on that same kitchen, looking just as impressive 12 years after install. We were thrilled Andrew was still designing kitchens for Wonderful Kitchens and he got to work with us designing our dream kitchen in our new home, before we’d even settled on the property. The job became very complex, with floors being removed and replaced, walls and windows out of plumb, and last minute changes to ceiling heights, stud walls and bulkheads, impacting the kitchen. We also decided to start bathroom renovations simultaneously. Andrew kept the ship sailing. He also gave us confidence with our choices of contrasting charcoal black and grey-white cabinet colours and a new colour line of engineered stone. The result is nothing short of breathtaking. Everyone who has visited has had a range of compliments for the kitchen, including ‘an absolute triumph’ and ‘the best thing (you)’ve ever done’. Not only is the kitchen stunning to look at, it is so functional, and so tailored to our needs. Our kitchen is the centre of our home and our family life, and thanks to Andrew it is a dream come true. We could not recommend him more highly.

We have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Dee and Wonderful Kitchens. He worked tirelessly to design all of our joinery for our duplexes and was extremely accommodating and responsive to all of our needs and many changes. Now that the joinery has been installed, we could not be happier - it is both functional and beautiful.

The reason we chose Wonderful Kitchens was definitely Andrew Dee!. We researched very carefully and met with a number of kitchen companies before making our decision. Andrew is a real professional, he knows his stuff and is affable and easy to work with. Choosing colours for our benchtops and cabinetry in the showroom was a breeze with Andrew, he guided us through the whole process. Once the project started, it all went like clockwork with very few delays, thanks to Andrew's rigorous organisation of the various trades. From our very first meeting I knew that Andrew was the right designer for my Kitchen, bathroom and laundry cabinetry. Andrew understood exactly the look I was trying to achieve and got the design just right. His attention to the smallest of details with how the kitchen would actually function and perform was outstanding. Wonderful Kitchens designed and installed our kitchen. It had been something that we had thought about for a long time so we had lots of ideas. In one meeting, Andrew condensed all of our ideas into a working kitchen of our dreams. Wa came across Andrew Dee's profile whilst looking for a kitchen designer on Houzz. Hiring him and Wonderful Kitchens may have been the BEST DECISION we have ever made. From the word go he was nothing but professional. Andrew was also very quickly understood exactly what we were after and put into a design the many many thousand word brief we gave him!! His ideas are simple and beautiful and our kitchen will stand the test of time no doubt. He was able to effectively solve all the small niggly issues we had with our old kitchen and we cannot recommend Andrew highly enough. Wonderful Kitchens also did a fabulous job with our joinery, the quality of their work is incomparable to any we've seen before. We have recommended them to friends of ours who have also used them and their kitchen is just as gorgeous. We're are about to approach Wonderful Kitchens again for some jobs that need doing.
