yep, stunning. I been drawing something similar for a while and it's awesome to see your ab fab results after your OP. I got interested in some ikea solid timber benchtops, not nearly as nice as yours, and thought I'd combo them with black cabinets, white stone and white walls (just a "what if" design). so I totally love your kitchen. it's great how well the tiles look now compared to when you first posted, they really excite me! and the lightshades against the black wall. and what's that dining area I see? that smoked glass table top with timber trestles and black chairs and that black and white rug? where you get those?! I want to see more! congratulations, it's hard not to gush! big ups to Mldesign too.

I have a 60cm induction cooktop, it has 4 zones, 1 with a booster. I've never had all 4 going at one time. I guess it depends on how much and what type of stovetop cooking you do, if you use small/medium pots or larger pots & pans. The 80cm cooktops seem to mostly have 4 zones but more space between each zone & there are more rectangular shaped options, whereas the 60cms are generally square in shape.

My 2 cents...If you've got a window to look out of then have your sink on the same bench as your cooktop. If you haven't got a window ie. you'd be looking at a wall (which they say can be a bit isolating), then put it in the island so you can face outwards to see kids?, TV etc while you're at the sink, prepping. If you're concerned about visual mess on the island you could have an area of upstand in front of the sink area.

1 will look lonely and lost, unless its a stunning chandelier, while drawing attention to its self and away from the kitchen overall. Don't forget that lights are there for a purpose and 3 will provide a much more even illumination of the workspace.
